During the play visit, we were asked what language do we speak at home.
Does the answer really matter? Eng = greater chance, Chinese = lower priority?

I think there is not a matter in this early age, it is also fair if you speak your first language at home. As long as you are saying the truth, It would be ok.

I really think that even if applicants who are in the waiting list, there should be chances to get a spot too, as some ppl will drop their offer if they go to other famous local kindy.

He did speak a few full sentence with me, but when the teacher asked him questions, he only replied with one or two words. I wasn't sure at the time if the teacher was satisfied. I guess she was quite impress when I told her we spend at least 1 hour a day that everybody has to speak English and my son only watch Eng TV programme.
