I think they not aim to "test" the kid though will ask him questions, e.g. which school u r going to? (My kid was so nervous answered wrong) 你最鍾意邊本書？

and I thought during 3rd in, the interviewers not having the scores on hand i.e. They are probably neutral towards the interviewees
