my son had spent two years with SFA and then transferred to his current school.
someone may think its campus is too small / too old and its surrounding environment is not classy enough. however, none of these bother me or my son at all. on the contrary, i think it is a really good school and provide a very solid academic training to my son.
Some outsiders may think SFA is pushy. The fact is that the amount of homework of SFA is very reasonable and most of the questions in exam / assessment are already covered in class / homework. The only problem is the teaching pace is a bit fast comparing to other schools. Besides, competition is keen as there are many smart kids around. If you aim at a high ranking in form / class, both the kid and parents need to work hard. Trust this will be the same in most of the schools in HK.
The SFA teachers I came across are all responsible and willing to share their feedback on my son with me. I never need to re-teach my son again when I did the revision with him. It means that the textbooks were taught well during the class.
The above is my own experience with SFA. I guess it is more reliable than the opinions from someone who just spent a few hours at SFA for an interview.
