想問中文程度可以嗎？會唔會教寫中文字？如果小學唔打算考國際或考唔到，咁K3係咪要轉另一間讀？衡唔衡接到local school or 直資學校？

冇中文，咁又如何銜接local? 請你check 下，通常冇k3.因為k2後入year1.

No Chinese reading / writing at all. Some mandarin songs only . Impossible transition to local schools without extra tuition or attending another local kinder in am/pm. It's a great school though !

Mamavee - Are you referring to the YMCA Primary School? Are your kids attending it now? How is it a great school? Caring?

多謝回復，聽了學校講每日都有普通話時間，唔記得問會唔會寫字
自己係怕龍年競爭激烈，直資私立英文小學都考唔到，如果大抽獎入local school唔知點

樓主，你真的很嫩，很亂？

1)SWCK是國際學校幼稚園，不要妄想人家幫你教中文。
2）SWCK只有k1 k2, 讀完才四歲或是五𡻕，便入國際小學的year one 了。SWCK有小學，如果願意留在IS體系，唔會入唔到的。又或投考其他IS primary.
3) 如果一定要入LS小學，提議在五歳,報LS kinder K3,如自少在家有教簡單中文字，K3一年已有足夠時間學好中文，以銜接小一六歳課程了。

私小也好，直資也好，大抽獎也好，有書讀就是好。

略補充。我覺得如一心決定不走國際，就直接搵間口碑好的本地kg讀。現今k3中文都可以好深！我先生昨天有空到商務行行，睇吓有乜練習俾升國際year 1的孩子試做。嚇呆了，小一原來已經要自己填充。識寫頗多詞語。而現今有些kg k3會開始p1課程。再者，K3肯收插班生（無中文底）的Kg都應該不是「較熱門」的學校。所以真的要三思再選校。

我唔係妄想人家幫我教中文！我只係問下現任家長學校有冇教寫中文字。如冇我可以安排跟進中文。
自己參觀完學校都十分十分鍾意！學校老師同學都非常友善！爬文睇左好多swck 既post, 但都幾年前，想再了解而已

Sorry to give your hard feeling.  

SWCK is not strong in Chinese teaching.  Kinder's Chinese level is very basic, parents are fully capable to teach them at home with no problem. SWCK is excellent to lead children loving reading and learning.  They learn quick when they love to learn.

In my old days there were some kids moving to local kinder after SWCK.  The transition was better than fine.

If you and your kid like the school, Go......

十多年來推薦了若干朋友的孩子就讀，全部很滿意，孩子特別喜歡閱讀和學習。希望妳和孩子也有一個愉快旅程。

完全無可能! 千祈唔好試! unless you r going to put your child in a happy learning IS in the future. It is a very good pre-school for those IS. 但同 local schools 距離太大了!

Our son is studying in there currently and we love it there.

In terms of Mandarin, it is not up to the local school level for sure.  They only have around 20 minutes of Mandarin time daily.  Both class teachers are English speaking teachers.
