Just note that the number of spots for Pre Reception will increase in the coming year. The following are information from HOS:

"We are happy to report that we will be welcoming additional morning and afternoon sessions of Pre Reception. That means 40 more students will join CDNIS in our Pre Reception programme starting in August. The move doubles our current programme from 40 students to 80. For applicants applying to the 2016/2017 school year, we will be moving the cut-off date to ensure that children born between September and December are at least 3-years old at time of admission. The later cut-off date will add integrity to our admission assessments and in the long-term, ensure that the vast majority of our graduates turn 18-years old within months of graduating from CDNIS."

Yes pre reception. Reception become smaller class size with only 16 in each. Pre reception is kept at 20 each. That's what I heard.

Your kid is do bright as the spots for pre reception are only 40. Many were reserved by staff kid and siblings. Bravo!!!

Basically moving the mass intake from Reception to Pre-reception. For parents applying to Pre-reception next year, good news. For parents applying for Reception next year, bad news.

Hi shabushabu, is your son accepted into pre-reception or Prep?  I'm wondering if anyone got accepted into Prep this year.  Guess not much chance unless students drop out.

Yes. The school is trying every way to fix this and I believe it will be resolved sooner or later. Yea... We will take the offer too.

Yes, I think you mean pre-reception (k1 age 3), right? As prep (k3 age 5) is full day.
