今年RC約有800人申請，有600個小朋友有幸參加了面試，錄取162人。應是每年級6班，每班27人

Shrimphome, my elder girl is studying in RC and some friends' kids in KJS. Both r good schools, but just our preference consider: (only our observation)
1. RC gives out regular home learning,  obviously more aggressive from Y4 onwards. But these days start from Y1, very simple task but I believe kids can be train up for their responsibilities and time mgt.
2. More Chinese learning, teaching in mandarin for sure and transitional Chinese character. (Only pathway 1 teach in simplify Chinese)
3. Through train from primary to secondary.
4. Better facility, indoor standard swimming pool, football field, primary gym, secondary gym, few playgrounds for younger pupils, new computer lab....etc.
5. Swimming class for 6-8 weeks since year 1....

Again both RC and KJS are good schools, otherwise I won't apply both.

600人interview, 只收162個。咁實有reject letter吧。

除非學校公佈，其實無人知最後的數字。大家也不用想太多，能入學的都是pass咗面試要求的孩子。

作為家長，我反而感謝慷慨付出nomination fee的家庭，學校有些新設施都是因此而添置。

I was told that during interviews the teachers do not know who got there by buying Nomination Right, so it is fair to those applicants who did not buy. I don't know how true this is though.
