都唔係嫁,我啲朋友啲細路個個都好乖好勤力,名校生(邊間就費事講喇,唔好講衰人地學校個名),考試都頭幾名 ...
I would not believe that there is any single IB school in Hong Kong that has so many teachers (you used 啲老師 so I presume you meant a few) that are poor and lazy. IB schools in Hong Kong do not lack funds. They can attract very good IB teachers from other countries.I am sure there are IB teachers that are less dedicated. But we are talking about 6 IBDP subjects. All 6 teachers are poor? What are the chances?
I have nothing against getting a tutor.
Many students do need extra help. Most IB tutors are local cantonese speaking chinese. Some students might benefit with extra tutoring in a language they prefer. In any case, if tutoring serves the purpose, that is good enough.
My understanding is however, that tutoring is definitely not the norm of IB students. Most IB students do not need extra tutoring.
More, I simply do not agree with how some people tend to put all the blame to the school.
