唔補習仍可名列前茅嗎？

成日聽家長講，小朋友升上小一，便要搵補習老師或上功課輔導班。好想知道有無小學生不需補習，仍能考取好成績。因為我常覺得讀書應該靠自己，但又怕唔補追唔上其他同學，講得真d就係怕蝕底。

阿女小一和小二都名列前茅，但她沒有任何補習。其實，小一和小二的課程不太深，如果小朋友有問題，自己敎便可以。我一方面不想女兒養成依頼補習的習慣，另一方面，我想初小時讓她玩多些課外活動，上到高小，那有時間玩？

現在小三，我正考慮幫她找個英文tutor,讓她可以多說和多聽英文，因為上到高小，speaking和listening的要求高很多。

其實我覺得未必個個家長都係因為想名列前茅先補習或去功輔班嘅，我識得有好多朋友包括有d親戚係因為媽咪都要返工，所以先要去補習或去功輔班，因為放工返到屋企都7，8點，無可能晚晚都咁夜先開始做功課，所以先要揾你幫手，但我d朋友們放工後返到屋企都仲要再double check功課有無問題，再温默書之類。佢地都無特別追求高名次，只希望跟上進度都已經好開心。

可以！但家長要有時間同心機教，尤其測驗考試！家長要跟得好貼先得！

個人經驗. 小朋絕對可以唔補習名列前茅.

關鍵是小朋友的閱讀能力和興趣, 最好書不離手. 另外亦要家長有跟考試的經驗.

識好多唔補習但阿媽自已跟都可以名列前茅，但連阿媽都唔使跟都名列前茅就相信唔多啦！

One more thing is whether the parents are qualified to teach them!
Frankly speaking, i find some primary school approach and requirements is quite academic and rigid that not all parents can understand well and manage to adapt for their children self-reflection and application in daily life!

Exactly true!
Not all parent have 家長有跟考試的經驗!
The strategy of using the minimum time to get the best possible results!
You should know since you were also students in the past, it is impossible to have an in-depth revision of all stuffs in the examination period.  And it is very painful to catch the examination questions indeed!  Some teachers are very crazy in setting the exam paper you know!

The parents should also have strong personal network to collect those past papers!  And you know it is very difficult unless you have elder brothers / sisters studying in the past.  That's why many parents are so eager to joint the 家長教師會 during the participation can get some tips from teachers indirectly!

高 小 更加 無 時間, can't imagine they can only finish daily homework at least at around 11ish...My daughter is quick already.  She can finish the homework at around 9ish Monday thru Thursday but friday night, she does her homework till 11pm but still can't finish...Don't mention if they have time to play, even no time for study

經驗告訴我，如果小一開好個「自學」頭，學生自己（家長輔助）可以攪掂起碼至小二。

其實我的想法跟你相同，唔想小朋友養成倚賴的心態。不過，到了小三後，可能要為高小作準備，找補習社或私人補習老師幫忙了。

我女冇補習, 一年級評估前會做坊間練習, 二年級開始冇做了, 就咁溫返作業工作紙就去考.  我冇同佢溫書的, 只係平日睇佢的功課做成點, 佢最差係數學, 有時會成張工作紙都錯, 咁咪會再教多次囉, 其他都係佢自己搞掂.

我女學校成績表冇名次的, 不過家長日老師會大約講講每一科成績大概點樣, 如會講係頭三分一, 二年級上學期有問老師名次, 話全班十名內, 全級十幾囉, 我地全級得五十幾人, 唔可以叫名列前矛, 不過叫不過不失囉.

Your daughter is really clever and have great potential!
I believe if you add some oils to her, she will be the top performer among the classes!
