呢點我好懷疑係咪真既；港華中一有144人，淨係直屬位都收咗79個華小學生。要一半一半，除非港華自行時一個華小學生都無收過

還記得初為父母時，對孩子的期望嗎？我當時只想他/她平平安安，健健康康。
隨著時光飛逝，人的期望慢慢變了，變得越來越有要求。所以要經常提醒自己：毋忘初心！

今年的中一家長話有七十餘人從華小升上港華 , 也說往年也是约七成華小升上港華。以中學每班约36人計算，可推算約四成半或至五成是其他小學升上來。

有錯請指正。

我並沒有實質數據，資料只是從這屆升中一的華小家長得知而再推算，相信如有其他華小家長，便更能清楚以往的走勢。

My son now studying at WY S2. He comes from a primary school at shaukeiwan (not so call band 1 school). Refer to WY information, the interview is much more important.

Of course you still need a band 1 exam result for the ticket to get an interview. In my feeling, WY not only provide interview chance for band 1 primary school student.

Would you mind to pm me which primary school was your son studying at?

My son is in P6 this year but there is no records that the previous P6 students entered/applied WY. If you don't mind, can you advise me how to prepare for the interview?

請教港華會否讀得很辛苦? 因有人話例如皇仁這些名校, 很需要學生自發, 因入到的, 都是自覺的學生!

Wan Yan Hong Kong will recruit a very small number (usually one or two; not more than five) of high performing students from each school (other than their feeding primary school). So, you would not see a large number of students from a single school entering WYHK.

This is not the case in their sister school, Wan Yan, Kowloon. As WYK has no feeding school, they would recruit a large number of students (can be more than 10) from different schools.
