Are you applying K1?
Maybe, let me share my experience for their PN interview. Just give u an idea and hope help for your K1 interview.
It lasted around 30-45mins. My kid and I had gone to 3 rooms in the whole process.
Rm 1 : warm up for all kids (small group in around 8-10 kids plus one parent each). Kids played toys, like Lego, 串木塊,cars, puzzle, etc.). 1-2 teachers as the observer, guessed they took into account the emotional stability of kids, social ability for sharing toys among kids, your close relation with him/her in playing toys, their 小肌肉 ability, etc. kids were free to move to any table during the process.
Rm 2: story telling and kid-parental participation. Kids were required to sit well on their chair or floor mat to listen to a story by the teacher. Then they were required to folo the teacher and danced or moved their body while they were singing a song. Parents' involvement in dancing with their kids was also important.
Rm 3: individual interview for the kid together with a parent. The teacher asked my kid to do some tasks, like stacking Lego, catch a moving objects, throw and catch a ball, etc. The teacher could already understand the strengths and weaknesses of my kid so well, say he had a bit speech delay. And parents were asked some questions too. Lastly, my son lost patient and ran out of the room, but still said bye bye. Surprisingly, he got the offer of their PN class.
So I feel the school is so good that they don't mind accepting small b, and they has confidence to foster kids who may have minor delay, like my son. |
