In 2017/2018
Prep has 50 minutes/session, 5 days a cycle, 6 day cycle.
G2 has 50 minutes/session, 5 days a cycle, 6 day cycle.

There are 2 streams of Chinese (one native, and another non-native).  Native stream teaches traditional characters; and non-native teaches simplified.

There are 28-31 bus lines for 2017/2018.  Believe there's lines to Hung Hom.

No, students speak English in class and during recess/lunchtime.

In 2016/2017, the school had 4/5 preparatory class, 6 Grade 1...
In 2017/2018, the school has 7 preparatory class, 7 Grade 1, and 6 Grade 2......
Next year, it can be anticipated that it will be harder to get into Grade 1 and 2 as students will be promoted from Prep and Grade 1.

Not 100% sure if there's school bus to/from Yuen Long.  There are extra-curricular classes that you may sign up after school, out of your own pocket.
Generally the students are behaved.  They have a system to reward students on their good behaviors.

It is a subjective question, that's why parents including me cannot answer your question right away ...

Totally agree.  My daughter used to go to a local kindergarten, but she was not creative at all and was frightened to respond to questions.  After a year at CAIS, she has become much more innovative/creative and would ask questions....and not afraid to fail.  She tells me that she can try again next time.

點解我睇完有關CAIS既舖，我感覺佢係一半國際學校，一半半地學校咁既？有考試，國際學校唔係無考試既咩？又話開學三個月就考試。。

我唔認識所有國際學校，但我有親戚朋友仔女讀既國際學校，全部都有考試/評估，考試/評估唔等於谷，適當既評估有效幫助學習。

They are usually 22 - 23 kids per class for prep and grade 1. So if talking about extra seats, it really depends on how many kids from prep will take the seat to grade 1.  If majority of kids from prep goes to grade 1, u can imagine there is not much seats left for outsiders.

1 homeroom teacher and 1 teaching assistant per class.
