Think it is what most of the international schools are doing, they try to mode an all-rounded kids. They are less academic though, more knowledgable in general.

My friend's gal joins this sept for grade 1. She said she is satisfy so far n the school does focus on moral education which she admires most. Btw, Kelly chan 'a son switchs from SC to CAIS this year.

Absolutely not. We are surprised too as they should be going to more a prestige school as people think.

SC都嫌功課多！？
不過傳統名小d功課量，真係幾癲。我女同學入到心儀津小，佢亞媽開心到喊，但而家日日小朋友磨爛席3個鐘先完成，又係激到喊。

吾係間間local都咁恐怖，但多數都吾係輕鬆。都睇小朋友性情，有d好competitive，受谷，在科科A、老師讚美、叻過同學中成長，樂在其中。

What if my kid is not that type? 唔讀過又唔知得唔得。
I knew a very rich man, but low profile one. He sent his two gals to st Mary and they did very well. He said he believe in traditional school. But you never know if the kids can adapt to it.

其實我反而係最擔心在local schools令小朋友中文及英文半桶水………………我相信係international school讀 ...

My view is if u are studying in good local school both eng n Chinese will be doing fine ( spoken eng is not may be). But the point is if the kids can afford the work load of that? This is my concern.

我小朋友雖然讀IS，但我吾係全面否定local school的，我覺得係睇邊間學校，同埋小朋友性情。
local school係功課多，如果學校教得吾好，或者小朋友讀得吾好的話，好容易辛勤用吾到適當處，讀到死死吓，收穫不成正比。但如果小朋友考到或派到心儀的local學校，你覺得比IS更適合佢，可以比佢試吓。

好同意。
讀書要讀得好，一定要投入，勤學不可少，讀IS和local都一樣。

但讀IS可能無local school咁多消磨人意志和興趣的功課、測驗和背誦，小朋友求學的熱誠會持久的，同埋學既嘢會實際d，多d分析、少d死記。
