我的意思不是說九龍城的學校都教快, 只係有家長話津小一般都唔會教快, 但我的母校响41網, 津校, 唔係B1(因為41網太多名校了), 所以指出來大家參考而已。因為我大女現在讀小一, 咁我前年母校開放日就去睇下, 因為點計都有20分, 機會大啲, 去到問老師(數學科的老師), 佢就答我話數學有教快半年至一年, 同埋佢認為小一入學識背乘數表係普遍的正常現象, 咁我就無報了, 因為我的係11月底細B, 數學最差。

依家阿女讀緊私校, 無教快, 只係中文深少少。

係咪happy school, 好睇同小朋友夾唔夾和家長本身的要求。我小朋友是讀私校，有教快，小朋友進度還可以，我們又沒給太大壓力，每天返學也很開心。

呀仔學校有考試測驗、功課量一般、小朋友多表演機會、呀仔返學超開心、每日放學都會會報在校園發生的趣事:momday:

其實有適量的考試測驗也可以是好事、小朋友見到自己努力後有進步會有成功感。

朋友的孩子讀王錦輝，他覺得WKF是happy school，因為WKF少默書，功課壓力不大，多做project，多presentation，而他的孩子好中意講野，非常適合。不過如果你的孩子不喜歡做project及presentation，那對你孩子就不是happy school了。所以是否“happy school”也是因人而異吧，合適的就自然讀得happy！

問老師是一個好辦法。不過我以前試過問老師，老師說我孩子讀什麼都適合。我當時覺得老師幫唔到（或唔肯幫）。不過後來想想，有些孩子確是活動/傳統都適合的，不一定要給孩子一個標籤。

Can't agree more.  

Weather a school is a happy school depends on the kids ability and feeling.  Of course parents' involvement counts.

My son's is studying in a subsidy school at net 41 in P.1.  To me, its a happy school.  My son can handle everything well.  He has not much homework everyday, around 2-4 types.  Yet, over the weekend and long holiday, the school will give them a lot of works to do.  He dose not need to remember the dictation syllabus as teacher will read it out.  No examination and no test for P.1.  No examination up to P.3 .  What a paradise for parents.

Yet, they do have term projects for the science subject and social study.  They do expect parents to help.  This is a nightmare to me as my artwork is terrible.  However, my hubby can do all art work well.  It helps a lot in my son's projects.

Is this a happy school to you or other kids?  It may not be if the parents really want to know how his kid stands in the class.  Also, if the parents and kids do not like to do projects and presentation.

Again, the school syllabus to my son is very adequate as he is well prepared for being a P.1 student.  However, some of his classmates are terrible that they cannot understand PTH and some cannot speak up in English.

Thus, there is no "happy school" but a suitable school to the kid.
