好明白你此刻的心情，我一想到過澳洲的日子越來越近，內心都會七上八落，唯有當佢過去讀summer course, 兩個月後又可以見。我驚陪他開學返港時在他面前喊，令他不安。
我囝學校返到七月中才放暑假，唸緊好冇提早退學

其實他只得十三歲，佢好適應澳州生活，欣賞他們事事認真，他的同學只有3個中国籍的小朋友，這間是教會學校，所以每星期都返教會。但他說要考當地名校不是易事，d 英文很深，就算他在香港中學成绩中上，也感吃力，所以學校已揾人教他呢。同學方面，很纯無机心。你去銀行開户口，要有學校信，否則可能有難道，你可联络我若有問題。

CFHung, 很多謝你的分享。你囝囝有天天跟你聯絡嗎？用什麼途陘較多，Skype? 要不要在澳洲替他買電話卡？除了出student visa規定要買的保險外，你有否另外替他買保險？

You can buy Optus card for aud29.99 at woodworth supermarket. It contains 250 minutes oversea calls and local calls.

We are Australian PR . So the basic insurance is covered by Medibank. We need to pay premium for ambulance service. I think the school will tell you about this.My son likes to contact us by phone as skype is not stable even using land phone. We join ulimited oversea and local calls plan  for land phone. I want to tell u the local calls usage will deduct at same charge rate as oversea calls if u use calling card.

I mean to get in selective school at year 9. Have u check the ranking of ypur son'S school. No need to bring blanket or pillow. I believe the school will provide ,if not,u can buy those things in Target.

Yes,I already checked his school ranking in SA around 10-15. Not the top level.I suppose he will study this school from y8 to y12.

Chmama327, 今天我也取了Qantas student card.我已問清楚，每張咭有40kg，可以多件行李，不過每件行李不可超過３2kg。
今天取埋咭，全部嘢攪掂哂，等待……中。兒子提前放暑假，譲他輕鬆迎接未來吧！！！

其實我同你情况差不多。我地有我地吾捨得，他有他的勇往直前，海闊天空的想法。其實藉得欣慰。你除可縫名牌，還可以買一款防水不脱色筆寫名，我試過洗水都ok。買多枝帶過去，方便日後補色或自己有需要寫名用。

頭先同埋阿仔上左agent度聽briefing, 順便買定張電話卡，價值$29.9, 過去之前幾日上網activate左先，過到去再top up就可打overseas電話及上網，係Lebara既電話卡。之後係澳洲超市或7Eleven 都可増值。

我問agent有冇briefing佢話如果要可以安排俾我。他們給了一張準備checklist, 講下visa condition, 提下阿囝怎樣和外國學生相處，等佢有d心理準備。電話卡係aus$29.9, 佢地話Lebara打overseas最評，你可以上網睇下
