自資院校越來越重視與業界的合作，裝備學生成為更切合社會需要的人才。就金融發展局早前發表報告表示開展金融培訓課程試點計劃，與業界保持緊密聯繫的恒生管理學院亦擬針對該校學生、現職從業員或具大學三年級或以上程度人士為對象，推出有關金融規管的學科單元。課程由具經驗的市場人士參與設計及講授，學額為40名，預計在2015年9月開課。校內學生選修有關單元學費全免，校外報讀人士學費暫定為6,800元。
