請問信上是指明 "am class" 嗎？
我在想，可能SJC provides two types of offer.  first batch (those with better performance) would be offered AM class, while second batch (other potential students) would get AM or PM by order of paying reservation fee.

wonder how many AM offers were made and the no. of remaining AM seats for the second batch.  

SJC current measure would put itself in a good position, i.e. having certain no. of students being enrolled into its PM class.  

dunno if the above guess is true....

I agree that SJC's measure (first come first serve) in allocating am & pm class is good!  Although we're not sure if they really assigned some kids with good performance into am class, at least for those who are really interested and definately go for SJC will surely has no hesitation to go regiser first in order to get AM seat!  That's more fair, esp. to small b!  They can also avoid accusation by EDB that they required misc fee before May which is not allowed.  Those parents who are still waiting for other results can wait till May to pay the misc. fee!  Fair game!
