it is good at teacher to student ratio , 1:15. Each class has one teacher, one teacher assistant and one auntie helps out with things like e.g. snack, toiletie.. etc. daily routine is some fun art and craft for first 15 min to let kids settling, then following with pray time (they named as praise time) in morning for about half an hour. outdoor /indoor activity time for 45 min. Snack time for 45 min,  30 min mandarin class time. another 45 min for outdoor/indoor play / activities. story telling time 30 min then finish for the day.

30mins mandarin per day sounds really good! how many children in one class? 15 or 30? Do you know how many K1 classes? I just send out my application but worried the competition is keen!

Is it difficult to apply for Primary directly (i.e. not promoting from Kindergarten)?

本人是NIS家長. NIS 是一間好好的學校. 我的小朋友讀得好開心. 不過要留意一點, 將來就讀NIS Kindergarten 學生是不能全部直升小學. 因為來年只有一班P1而人數是維持不多於25人. (由於學校地方所限) 但現在K1 已經有三班. 可想競爭非常大.
至於中學方面. 現在仍是初步的階段. 但Target 是2015-2016年度.

Already had 3 classes K1 currently

They have 2 P1 class currently but reduce to 1 class later! (I am not sure starting from this Sept or next year)

現時的校舍唔夠地方再容納更多的學生. 所以学校現在向政府爭取校舍擴充
