DGJS VS TSL

My girl is talkative, cheerful and interest in reading a lot.  She comes from a happy KG.  We don't know any friends kids studying at DGJS.  We want to find a school which really nuture a kid and recently heard TSL is also quite heavy workload.

錢唔係考慮因素就揀DGJS, 原因是不喜歡冇中學的小學。個人覺得小學生應該玩多D,只要打好語文基礎,廣泛閱讀,不用太早注重考試技巧。但當你要考呈分試,小學生就會用很多時間去操考試。

why do u think TSL is good? is it a coedu school? free of charge? near your home?

we just have 15 points.  no 津校 offer. live in Shatin. Got a younger brother. we meet TSL principal which find he is very impressive.

How well a principal market his school should not be point of consideration, iMHO.  I would actually discount a school if the principal is those sales, marketing person type.

sales or marketing principal?
it cannot be avoid for those private or direct subsidy school.

of course famous aided or govt school is better....but sometimes the points are not enough to get a p1 place.

Actually, dunno the real situation in dgjs....we only know it is famous and traditional  prestige school.  school may not harsh but parents will still demanding for their children.

I think dgjs parents used to shut their mouth up and cater for the school.
anyway, hope u can choose the right school to your kids.
no one can change your decision.  Both schools are good depend on how u make efforts on your children.

DGJS, then apply CCKG for younger brother, and then DBS later.

如自問唔算富裕家庭, 讀dgjs就痳痳, 因學校有定時捐款機制.....

楊校長好有心，見佢的3rd in係分享小朋友在面試時的表現，有什麼強項和弱項，以後raise這個小朋友要注意的也嘢....大家分享吓想法。
見完佢，吾覺佢係sales，會不自覺加好多分比學校。無論收吾收、讀吾讀，都有得著。

TSL is a very good school. Principal is not sales type of person. Just his passion would touch the heart of parents. With that cost and quality, what do u expect?

do u mean won't give up DGJS or TSL? Yes, the principal of TSL gives us a very impressive impression that he is a very dedicate and sincere Principal.  He is also able to tell the strength and weakness of our child and gave us some useful tips to help nurturing her.  We are not really very wealthy that's why got some hesitation in taking DGJS...

除非系之前講果兩個因素，吾系吾會放棄女小拔。
財政和家庭支持系要考慮，我識的用家都系一女一媽，人盯人甘哉培，錢系一方面，果種持續的心力真系吾系講笑。

TSL吾系神级，但都系好好的學校，親友系用家，平靚正初小輕鬆
讀得開心，讚不绝口。
