有無家長試過寄包裹去英國學校要打稅???

我用快遞寄左個包裹去, 係英國海關HOLD左3日,
打去郵局問, 佢話可能比海關抽中檢查, 有機會要打稅,
請問有無家長有這樣的經驗

由近日都寄咗兩次，一次係乒乓波板，上星期係兩條褲同皮帶，順利收到，都擔心會打稅，因為同事寄對鞋及公仔麵就要打稅，可能係抽樣調查，不過唔係幾英磅稅問題，你專登去攞..尤其是year 9,10的寄宿生...好煩

稅款是以物品的多少去決定嗎?

是否要連同稅款到郵局取呢?

我們不熟識他們的稅利，不太誇張的話，亦逆來順受，最麻煩的是如果是小朋友就要揾Guardian陪同去攞，又要收錢

用郵包專號可以網上追蹤郵包，若果俾海關扣留，亦可以網上俾稅，及指示郵局派郵包，唔駛自己去郵局取。

不過真係建議响網上買嘢啦，方便及快捷好多。好似買對CLARKS鞋，香港要5-6百以上，英國只係30-40鎊，仲一定唔駛打稅。

I had an experience on charging me 20%VAT on a DHL parcel.
I read through the note and found one point arguable - VAT is not applicable for kids stuff.  I wrote letters to VAT and DHL with supporting documents (declare that it's for my son's own use, not resell).  I successfully waived the GBP120 VAT.

Warm reminders - put no commercial value on the green sticker if you mail in post office.   I always put the value <HKD100.

This is one agent for different couriers company ( like UPS, DHL, FedExpress, Aramex)

They have economy and express service for your selection. They offer you the price and delviery time from different company for your seleciton.

This company have contract with larger courier company so their /rate will be cheaper than you order from DHL or Fed Express or Aramex.

You can track your parcel delviery status from website.

I have sent many  parcels before to USA and UK.

呢間公司連地址都冇好危險喎, 再講依家就咁打上的courier公司都有折扣, 唔使咁冒險卦??

依家歐美的國家冇錢呀, 好多時寄野都要比稅, 我有親戚係加拿大住, 早排去左深圳諗住窗廉平,買左成屋窗廉寄返去, 點知比海關打左成萬銀稅....
其實依家好多野個邊都有得買, 貴小小都係響個邊買啦

Re select courier,

If you place order to them, the parcel will be pick up by fed Express, UPS, or DHL staff only ( depend on which company you choose . You can track the parcel via UPS or DHL or Fed Express  from their website. But the rate is better than those company.

They are an agent only. It is like to buy the airticket from travel agent but you travel still travel via CX or BA , Qater or VN etc depend on which airline you use.

其實坊間都有好多courier agent(即係艇仔公司), 就算係freight forwarder都有contract rate, 我知道運作模式都係一樣, 亦係透過佢地聯絡然後直接搵DHL/ UPS收貨, 不過人地起碼有辦公地址電話聯絡人, 你講個website就乜都冇, 咁危險好多架, 有起事上黎要追究難好多, 更何況佢攞既rate未必平得過其他公司添...

寄鞋及公仔麵都要打税我想寄零食及三合一咖啡，唔知洗唔洗打税呢？

剛寄了包裹給英國的仔仔, 很不幸給海關扣起打稅,
英國方面扣起包裹後會send封通知信給收件人即仔仔, 跟著信內指示在20日內上網找數, 選定送貨日期, 英國郵局收到錢後會在你的指定日期直接送回包裹去學校.

請問你用邊個方法寄而又被打稅呢？等其他家長可以參考。
另外三合一咖啡在英國的超市選擇好多，平過香港，有時我都帶番香港做手信，真係唔駛寄啦。

唔駛，據我所知一般寄掛號如果冇人收，會留一張CARD，依照CARD上網指示郵局再在某日寄來。如有其他人收，郵差會記下收件人intials。
