DSE Results and University Admissions
Queen’s College students have attained outstanding academic results in the HKDSE which have enabled them to embark upon a wide range of highly competitive degree programmes at universities in Hong Kong and overseas.
In 2013, two Queen’s College students were awarded 5** grades in all seven subjects that they sat, with three being awarded 5** grades in six subjects,
three more being awarded 5** grades in five subjects and five being awarded 5** grades in four subjects. The results in 2012 were similarly impressive:
two students received seven 5** grades, one received six 5**s, four received five 5**s and four received four 5**s.
In both 2012 and 2013, most Queen’s College graduates were offered places on university honours degree courses either in Hong Kong or overseas,
with a majority of students being offered places at the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong or the Hong Kong University
of Science and Technology.
The most popular programmes chosen by QC graduates in the last two years were:
Ÿ Engineering;
Ÿ Medicine and Surgery;
Ÿ Business Administration/ Business and Management;
Ÿ Law.
Many Queen’s College S. 6 leavers are offered places on a wide range of highly competitive degree programmes, with recent leavers taking up offers to
study courses including Actuarial Science, Architecture, Accountancy, Government and Public Administration, Quantitative Finance, Accountancy,
Psychology and Science.
