我個囡都仲係文盲一個

佢只會背書, 仲要係英文書, 但佢會活學活用, 如叫佢自己落樓梯, 佢會話 "ugh, I couldn't", 學咗 easy, 所以自己作 "No easy"

我估一般小朋友都會問:
我果個3 years old 問我點解蘋果熟左會跌落地下 , 未熟又唔會跌?山係點形成同有咩用? 點解蘋果得紅, 綠, 黃無其他顏色, 提子又可以有purple..彩虹點解無黑色, brown等顏色..

I would like to clarify that I have not sent my child to any school / classes, I didn't use any flash cards or memory aids, I also didn't set 'lessons' or work sheets for her etc. I use surrounding items and describe them to her when she shows interest,
we sing songs, play games,
we borrow children's books from the library because she's extremely interested in books.
She'll want to read / or want us to read the moment she wakes up, during the day, and before bed.

好多小學未必有足夠資源培訓資優，有些學校更唔like收資優，因為叻得濟，到最後上堂唔專心。如果真係要check起碼4歲以上check會準確d。如果小孩學術已經高，可以栽培自理及品德，因為k1考幼稚園呢兩樣野緊要d。

Just for sharing. I have a kid of 7 years old now. Many similar attributes when she was 1-2 years old as your kid. She was developed with mixed of 先天 and different 後天training i would say or guess. Refer on just reading measure, she could read book (alond + understand) independenly herself when she was early 2, start to read chapter book novel from early 3, and write short essay from early 4. She was tested as gifted. To be frank, result of gift or not gift or just clever is not very important. I think understand and mentor them based on his/her character and strength/weakness is the most important as sometimes they need more extra care. I would say it is a very good start for your kid.

我個仔歲半都做到晒你所講既.  
宜家3歲, 仲識講故事, 加減數, 分左右, 上落樓梯可以跑唔駛扶....

不過我唔覺得係資優. 好多宜家呢代既小朋友都做到.

唔好用我地嗰代去比, 宜家D小朋友好叻架!

at least u're guiding her and giving her exposure.  
really talented ppl they find the answer themselves.  they understand abstract through self exploration.

i don't think ur kid is any close to talented.

呢代的小朋友見識多,接觸的事物比我們細個時多好多

我們一代父母掛住揾食,教育程度不高,好似我媽咁26個字母未識曬,點都唔會同我唱字母歌啦
但呢代媽咪BB未出世已經唱字母歌俾BB聽

接觸的事物分別太大,無得比較

我個仔四歲己問老師教地球係圆的，點解地企的地方是平呢？五歲半就問點解上樓睇累過平路，點解唔儲起當電，回收再用。我一些都不覺我仔資優。不過樓主個女十八個月來說是有些似。

人係由猿人進化,咁我D仔仔女女(即刻後代)又會進化成乜野?點解其他動物唔會進化到好似人咁?
咩叫做生命?咩叫做死?點解老會死?點解病會死? 明明係有生命,死係無咗D咩野先至會死?

家長有冇積極協助或小朋友自已去找答案？If 冇，小朋友會冇咗咁强的求知慾的。

2.可以用到或了解至少500個字左右,最長的字係rhinocerous, avocad ...

Thanks but actually i want to ask what do people usually mean by "special training"?
Does it include classes or PN?
This is what I do:
1. Borrow library books
2. Read story books
3. Play music CD and sing songs
4. Ask questions like what is this, where is this, etc
5. Talk and talk
6. Use very basic toys like building blocks, simple puzzles, dolls, pretend play
7. Use pictures
8. Let my child play outdoors, and indoors she is free to go inside most areas even the kitchen (unsafe items removed)
9. Let her try new things if she shows interest.
10. Sometimes I read books, she would sit still and listen very hard...like words, pictures, stories. She learns the best this way

Are these methods considered special training?

女女好聰明，家長有教。無可口非記憶力很好，待她再大點返學才再進行相關評估。
讓她自然地學習就行了，學得太多驚佢返學覺得悶而影響專注力。

其實你做過d野就等於我地出去上playgroup一樣無分別,只不過我都系覺得俾出面嘅老師去做野，你就自己去訓練你既小朋友。零至六歲嘅小朋友佢地系吸收得好快好似海綿，你衹要同佢講一次兩次，佢基本上可以再重翻你做既動作，咁樣唔屬於資優。我女差不多年紀都做到你小朋友七成既野，我地更加冇去library,冇借書冇storytime, 因為一至五交比老人家湊，wkend先自己湊，一星期返一次playgroup甘大把。真系想潑你冷水，不過你冷靜下先，甘細個系睇唔出嘅。
