有無人考琴一考考五級?

見多數人會先考一／二／三級，然後考五／六。但我唔想正日同小朋友操考試，唸緊學耐d直接考五級，好唔好呢?

佢練琴都好乖，我想佢用時間彈多d不同樂曲，唔想成日考琴。唸緊直接到5級先考，甚至到六／八先。不過唔肯定咁做好唔好，其實有咩利弊呢?

阿女五歲開始學琴，十一歲考五级樂理，十二歲考六级鋼琴

還要睇小朋友性格。
我細囝的老師要求佢級級都要考試，不過唔係每級只學三首歌。老師每級都設計好三四十首練習曲和樂曲，教完就報名考試。要囝囝每一級都考是老師本身的做法，可能是對他自己教學成果的測試。不過，他亦告訴我，考試對囝囝是很重要的訓練，因為他比較容易緊張。老師沒安排囝囝表演或參加比賽，所以考試是他在人前演奏的難得訓練。

我就掉轉，唸住會間中參加比賽，俾佢習慣公開彈琴，同埋同日砌磋。

明白各師各法、但五級前只多考一次,並不花太多時間、也可讓孩子有點兒目標,練音階等是過程,彈歌多並不代表甚麼!還看所跟的老師如何安排、孩子的進度和要求。
我的是比賽每年都比,尤其是學校音樂節,主要是調整自身之不足。
至於考琴就基本是順便、2、5、6、8或2、5、7、8都有、上中學前完成。上大學的第一年前則完成FT。先有預算、當中還可調整!每級考大可不必。
當然現今直考AT也可以、連八級也免了吧!最重要是知道孩子有多少,適當的壓力許多時並不一定是壞事!

老師都有照叫佢練每一級嘅scales & arpeggios，同埋aural丶sight reading嘅，exam pieces都有抽兩三首彈，不過無真正去考試咁操咁耐。

多謝分享! 因聽到有唔同做法，所以想了解下大家嘅做法同想法。我都心大心細中，唸緊自己嗰個應該點plan......

所以寫出來讓你多個參考而已、理解作為家長那種摸著石頭過河的心情!
回想當年要跟的老師只說一句.....先拉一年音階你願意才來。

Piano exam before grade 5 is just to set a target and achievement level for the child and parents. My opinion is that if the child knows the target is to achieve grade 5 in a few years, and she practises hard enough, there is no need to take exam before grade 5.  Practising for exam would inevitably slow down the progress, especially when the teacher and the child want to achieve very high mark.

The situation is like when a child knows how to do addition, the teacher should move on to teach subtraction or multiplication.  However, if the child is facing an exam on addition soon, the teacher will not start teaching subtraction, but to drill on addition until they have confidence that the child will get 100 mark in the exam.

Just make sure the child will participate in some competitions. These are perfect opportunities for the teacher and the child to seriously learn and study a few piano pieces, and the child will get the experience on how to polish a piece until it is perfect.  Learning to play several exam pieces is a good approach, so that the parent knows what is the approximate level of the child.

From your posts, it seems the teacher is using the right approach for the child to take grade 5 exam.
