問過學校到今日為止仍未通知任何家長任何消息, 包括有2nd in, waiting list/reject. 最快都要下星期才開始通知. 若有2nd in 可能會打電話又或寄信. 而聽口氣waiting and reject 應是寄信了.

From the previous post, seems that 1st interview then receive waiting letter should be no chance. I think chance should go to those with 2nd interview but got waiting.

I'm also waiting for the waiting/reject letter as my son said the English questions are so difficult that he couldn't answer

Me too, 今日問過學校, they say still not send notification for 2nd Interview, Waiting List or Reject.  The letter is almost ready and arrive early next week.

But some parents in EK already said they had 2nd interview end of June and some very keen parents like 'sampapa' already think 6-7 offers have been given to kids end of June

I totally don't understand why the school would LIE about 2 nd Interview telephone calls and offers they have already given.   Crazy ......

How can you trust this school then?????

Are we talking about the same academic year??   I understand SMC continues to interview students even before P1 starts.   I thought the earliest interview day is in early June so I was also surprised to hear that some students were interviewed in May.

我是打聴回來例。因為有收通知第二次面試的家長PM，想知道以住的面試程序和注意的地方，跟著也上來報喜的或未有消息的。
而學校的職員是不可以答任何𨶹於取錄情況的查詢，更加在電話上不可確認家長的身份。所以只可答家長的文件，補充資料是收到或沒有的。
我都知道一路面試一面收生的方式，會使家長的心情是上下不安的。我往年也同樣情歷過的。

I don't think they issue reject letter. My friend just got WAITING LIST letter but not get 2 nd interview. so means no chance? anybody know? how can be on waiting list when not getinvitation for 2 nd Interview.
can't understand.

7 June interview and 5th July got the reject letter

Even you got waiting list after the first interview, you still have chance. My son got offer offer after 2nd interview in March this year. As far as i kow, the chance  is higher than those who dont have offer after 2nd interview.

Thanks Waichunmama. But your case have 2nd Interview and offer, do you mind telling us why 2 nd interview is so late in March?  I thought application deadline is last october and they arrange 2 nd interview very quickly .
Also Do you mean straight Waiting List have higher chance than 2 nd interview but did not get offer. I don't really understand because I think if got 2 nd interview but no offer will mean they are in waiting list too.

My friend is very unhappy because his son got Waiting List which make me very
nervous cause the letter should arrive this week.

其實waiting左都唔駛失望，你可以寫多封信去比學校以示誠意！我上年都係收左waiting letter再寫信去，等到三月就有2nd in嘅機會，黎緊今個九月有幸入讀此校小一！

So your kid was on waiting list and then SMC invite your kid for 2nd in in March???

Maybe there is still hope for my friend.
