I think the answer depends on which IS! If ESF, theres no need to learn chinese for admission purpose! While Boxhill and Victoria's standard of english might be very good but chances are its still not enough for ESF standard!
Theres probably no kindergarden that can魚與熊掌??

I heard that kingston is good for both local scl and IS, is it true?

My boy is going to Kinston for PG this August.  We are going for the IS. As far as I understand, Kingston caters for IS though some students will go to LS at the end

And for Kingston, you have to apply early. I did my application when my boy was 4 months old and it was considered as very late.  I got the offer only because of some giving up.

I applied already because my BB is Jan baby, there is still ample of time since the next school term will start at Aug 14. I called the admission office and they tentatively will call me for interview next  Jan. Does that mean they will accept me? I am still considering local school so I am not sure if I should accept it. You know the levy cost is real put off.

Kingston is on a first come first serve basic. If u did your application very early then u will have a place. Interview is just a formality unless your baby is far from average. Kingston receives application from Nov so we only got a pm place as my boy is a July baby

LS or IS is a very personal choice. I expect u would understand $ is also an issue for studying IS. I have no choice as my hubby is a non-local.

I was from LS. I personally don't buy the LS philosophy.
