Hello ming2:我有問題想請教你.小女今年5歲.剛剛開始學鋼琴.我自已本身唔識.又無琴.現想請問可否買一個電子琴在家作練習用?因力度上不同.會否練壞手?如可以可否介紹那種型號和牌子好呢?Thanks

如果係因為屋企太細,放唔落個真鋼琴,你可以考慮數碼琴架...

Dear Ming 2:
My kid is 5 yrs old, and has been attending the YAMAHA junior class for abour 4 months.  Since he goes to the class right after school, so he is usually tired and has difficulty concentrating on what the teacher is saying.  If I want to transfer him to a weekend class, he needs to stop now and wait till July to join the new class.

He practices about 5-10 minutes everyday when he is in the mood.

Do you think it's a good idea for him to stop now and restart in july, or should I consider going to a private tutor?

請問ABRSM G8之後, 有d咩course/exam可以take, 是否performance 即G9 (diploma) & G10 (advance diploma). 聖三一是否淺 d, 聖三一個grading點上, ABRSM G8 是否equal to 聖三一 G8 (我一 d idea 都無 in fact).  是否兩個exam都要先考G8樂理, G8樂理是否很難考的? 有時發夢會想到很遠很遠, 可否幫下我手發夢.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I can only say that my kid has shown "some" interest in piano.   He likes to sing and dance in general, because it's fun. When it comes to piano, since he needs to practice, he gets bored easily if he does not like the piece, or if the piece is more challenging for him.  I don't think what the teacher is teaching is too easy for him, I think he is not that interested, when he is tired, he prefers some action than talking.  I have been talking to him about switching to a weekend class, but he keeps asking me to let him stay in his current class, because he likes the teacher.  He even promised me that he'd take practice more seriously.

What would you suggest me to do?  Do you feel he is ready for private lessons?  I am not sure if he is ready for the commitment and discipline.

Thanks for your advice.  If my daughter has already passed G5 theory, she can step by step taken practise exam up to G10/advance diploma, isn't it?

好似ABRSM 比 聖三一多人考, 是否認受性高d???
