但一姐如果底堅好, 相信可以一兩年時間追番

DGS咁利害嫁.....咁失策連協恩小學一姐d學術程度都高估左
咁我估DGS都唔使收街外學生lu....果d乜乜好既官津小學都應該差唔多
即係...未夠班入DGS~~~

wow, why so defensive of M and other Public schools? You seem to hate D very much. Different parents like different school, if it's not your cup of tea don't apply. By the way, D may have a higher percentage of middle class and rich parents but you should know they have many done to earth working class parents too.

I admit academic level, D is stronger, but in terms of personality/ aggressiveness/ personality/ happy childhood/ competitiveness among parents may not be as good as public schools. This is not from my imagination, but from real cases. Furthermore, $5000 school fee (or higher) a month can be saved and spent in other more meaningful way.
Some Parents (I don't mean all) who choose D instead of M or others are purely because of "face", they can tell their neighbours/colleagues/friends that their daughters are more intelligent than others. I know different parents like different school, so leave it to those who like to pursue fame.

I disagree with munce that parents who opt for D will be much to show off their daughters.  There are parents are down to earth in D and also humble persons I met.  I would believe is the programs, resources of the school and training that they choose for their girls instead of showing off their wealth or very smart girls they have raised.

Also, there are many rich families that their daughters are not being offered, including professional parents.  I believe D select their candidates based on the girls' individual ability and capablity.

A real case from couple of years ago.
Both girls below got a chance of 2nd interview with the headmistress.
girl A - "big" girl, confident, piano 5th grade, violin 3rd grade, numerous awards, Eng oral, spelling, etc. excellent - not successful
girl B - super "small" girl, no awards, not even start learning any musical instruments, shy, Eng just fair - successful
WHY ?

咁應該係 DGS 小學谷得勁, 小一教小二咁囉, 咁係果年程度先有明顯差異

大家都係小學, 中學六年, 相信要追追得番  (講個底 NOT BAD 啲學生)




催谷左 6-10 年(幼稚園+小學), 剎時間升中一果年, 一定勁過其他學生小小,
12 歲時 LEVEL 比下去啫,未必係真正的實力

我朋友都識一個朋友個女，連1-10都唔認唔到，仲要今年金豬年咁多人，考到同叩門幾間小學，其中包括協恩！我朋友比張相我睇，個小妹妹個樣好可愛架！朋友話個妹妹係好可愛、有禮貌！協恩校長叫佢媽媽係暑假要比多啲英文、普通話個妹妹學！所以我好深信小朋友面試時有自信、禮貌……面試會收既機會好大！

我係奇怪 協恩 係坊間都係一間程度高既小學...仲要係該年級一姐...理應英文成績唔差
但最奇係DGS都肯收一個在該校只係中下...咁失策又蝕底
連協恩小學一姐都未夠實力...我估DGS唔使收其他小學學生...理應差不多...費事拉低中學水平

btw...協恩都應該幾谷下...DGJS亦無話自己係全谷小學...分別係那方面?

協小既程度不嬲唔高，有親戚由宣小上協中都話佢地D老師話協小度程唔高，上黎中學果D都要幫幫補下佢地~

可能協恩中學名氣大, 令人誤會了小學都勁

相反玫瑰崗,蘇淅小學勁, 中學吾知點解係 BAND 3

玫瑰崗小學勁係因為小學校網在彎仔區，成績好的學，可選瑪利曼，聖保錄，港華等等名校，當然小學也把關把得好，成績仍能令名中信任，中學就變到band 3，聽過有一個聖保錄跑馬地小學生入不到中學，轉到瑰崗中學，同學都像不是讀書似的，她每次也第一，校內所有比賽她都拿到獎。媽媽以為自己的女兒很了不起，再申請名女中中二插班，沒有一間取錄，但看到玫瑰崗的問題，最後還送了女兒到外國讀書。蘇浙也有類似的問題出現，小學學生的出路，多是張祱珊，BPS等等。

Dgs一定係谷得很勁的學校，除咗有D運動很勁的學生，但運動好勁的學生也要有超班校際比賽成績，即是你一定十X十拿到獎牌，否則中學不收你。

她媽咪可能係叩 BAND 1 的門, 不成功, 去了外國都好

如果無錢去外國, 其實叩 BAND 2 門都應該收掛, 話哂中學成績叫第一名, 小學又聖保祿..
可能她媽媽 BAND 2 已睇吾上眼




蘇浙小學係幾好, 但學費真係吾平, 全年學費 3萬幾, 仲貴過一啲直資中學, 六年條數吾係細,

佢地班班都係精英班，有幾班仲係叫精英中既精英班~

說起那位媽媽，她告訴我知道上不到聖保祿中學後，每天也在中學校門外等校長，乞求校長給女兒一個機會，但校長無動於衷，說不要再等，學校不會給給她學位。她才到玫瑰崗去。

Yes， 我鄰居千金是由小一讀到中五，Dgs中四有2班十科班，4班九科班，沒有八科讀的，相信你知道後一定感到學校給學生的壓力。
