我有朋友女兒以前係英國讀寄宿中學
她係來自MCS...佢其中一朋友來自DGS
她星期六早上好清閒...而佢d同學仔被學校捉晒去補英文
DGS係米真係一定100分??

看你們的討論便知你們level如何! 有點如爭論橙定蘋果好食. 不如做個research看看究竟女拔小學生就業情況如何? 她們是否個個都搵十幾廿萬一個月? 做什麼工? 冇錯我認我都想自己個女讀女拔, 但大家都知女拔收的一係就超叻女, 一係就有背境人士, 一係就你每年至少捐獻幾十萬, 一係就體育奇材, 一係就社會名人的女, 普通人家唔係話冇, 但頂盡得十個八個. 都話我手下就有個男拔生, 做野完全不像話, 冇logic, 諗起佢係男拔生就都唔知我應該讀那神級學校?

唔好講咁多啦, 請那些hold住好多位係手的家長放位啦, 你地咁樣中到六合彩都害左你地, 因為你們會為唔知買邊度樓而2公婆鬧交, 去邊度旅社又鬧交, D錢唔知點洗又鬧交, 點投資又鬧交, 最后離婚收場.

if I were you I would compare curriculum and the girls characters.

what sort of impression does DGJS girls give you?  Do you want your daughter to acquire those attitude and qualities?

same thing for Maryknoll.


afterall unless you want y our daughter to be rocket scidentist or Chief Executive of .HK, or Olympic athlete, your should focus more on the schools' culture

M記係好學校,不過同神級比差好遠,既然大女考到D記,即代表她有能力,

更加不明這處家長大多叫你選M記,
根本兩個LEVL,真人真事,協恩小學一姐,
中學考入D記,入學前評審英文試,出來成績只係D記中下程度,

I don't agree. Why everyone here said they are different level?
Both (secondary) are top 10 in HK. Compared to the rest of the secondary schools (is it more than 500?), rank #1 or rank #5 or rank #10 make very minimal difference.
In addition, D girls are very aggressive and competitive. Do you like your girl to be grown up in such environment?
2 more factors, I'd consider Catholic vs Christian. And students background. D - I think most girls will be from rich or middle classes whereas M girls could have some from lower society. I'd prefer my girl to mix with different people from different classes.

English stronger doesn't mean everything to me. Top in class doesn't mean everything to me too. Me and my spouse know a lot of people from those top 2 boys school. HKCEE 9A friend may just get a very ordinary job whereas 2 guys who just got Cs, Ds and Es, retired already at the age of 30 and managed to live in the mid-levels.
