My gal borned in October & repeated K1 last year in the thru- train school. She is "very" happy with school at all areas. Same as me & my hubby.
There are also several classmates are super big kids like mine but they ever feel bad though there are classmates smaller than them almost a year. They even become the good friends & hoping it lasts as they are growing,
Since the curriculum in HK is pushy in general, particularly talking about primary school, I feel my gal is at the appropriate time to attend the appropriate level at present.
On another posts, it seem many parents do not agree to be the super big ones but it obviously they don't have the actual experience like what we already have now. They feel it would be wasting the time to repeat while they are small or the kids would feel bad but I feel they don't care while they are little.
We have no doubt on our decision cos we ever push our kid to learn whatever is beyond her age just go with the flow where she should be at.
Of course every kids is different so you may see the progress of yours from time to time.
It is our thoughts / experience only.
