有名幼offer的，請問係咪父/母唔係在職?

如題。我同老公都係要返工, 公司中層。阿女2011  4月B，係慢板B, 好定，慢熱。今年報PN有信心的居然都waiting. 諗緊今年報K1點部署，當然想報熱門學校。唔知道其實啲名幼稚園(如LH, SC,GH, KM, KV) 係咪prefer 收父/母係全職Mom/Dad? 有無人知？

睇表現, 阿女去SC,v仔 咩都唔理老師, 去km, hkps 咩都做到加零一,
in o既野算係淺, 好睇你小朋友當時發揮, 我女表姐in pn 1至20已經識晒..,佢去到唔show miss 都係無用

我果係 11 年5月B，只報  Lh / St cat / Vic 3 間名幼，  LH first round 有 offer, 夫婦都係 working parents, 一星期只返一堂 playgroup, 我認為學校好注重小朋友性格，我有朋友  8 月 B, 未識講野， vic 都收，就係睇中佢夠獨立

2010年中B，今年In了不少幼稚園（當中有不少九龍塘名校），本人心得是只要職業不是太差，其實唔會影響收生結果，但如果父母是從事教育工作就好有幫助；反而住址重要，因為有些地區沒有校車到。
不究呢幾年太多人爭名幼，平常心，不要太緊張，報多幾間心水學校，小朋友面試表現唔好亦不代表一定唔收，反而學校會留意家長當時反應，這才重要。
現在五月，我仔仔亦不斷收到名幼的後備Offer，所以證明個個都漁翁剎網，一定要報多幾間，最後也有好結果。

主要睇面試表現同父母談吐，同全職在職無關係。
任何學校都有大量的全職媽咪同在職媽咪。
我是全職媽媽，pn一樣全軍覆沒。
但k1就有好多學校收，同樣的背景，完全無變過。

我先後報了七間, 頭6間報雙職父母，結果沒有offer, 然後辭職全力教仔，報自己是housewife, 第七間最難考的，收了我個仔。所以不會無作用。

我個小朋友係10年中B,聰明定性但超慢熱。PN考5中4，好幸運。我係FTM,先生自己開公司，今天考K1考6中4。最後俾咗兩間留位費諗住開學先算。老實講，我覺得除咗小朋友interview 面試表現外，我係FTM確實帶來分數，尤其最top嘅名校。好明顯老師聽到我係 FTM就會再深入問多啲我同小朋友日常嘅相處和節目，大部分個樣都幾appreciate .. 講到部署，PN乜都唔識只係魚翁撒網，入咗間心儀之後，K1就只選擇最喜歡或最有口碑的去考，萬一乜都考唔到都可以留守原本間PN繼續升上去。所以我成日同人講PN係你小朋友最重要的 back up

其實地址除考慮校車外，會否高尚住宅機會大些，講緊係名幼如SC, V and LH.普通屋苑會否較蝕底

最緊要有校車覆蓋小朋友的區分，如果交通是問題，到時收了又唔讀，咪又麻煩學校

小朋友面試表現係重要, 以下是一些曾聽一些學校老師講過學校會優先考慮因素:
1. 全職父/母
2. 面試時和小朋友同來的家長
如沒有限制, 最好是父母一起來, 如果只限一人, 聽說不少名幼會暗地俾多D分那些由爸爸帶來的 (前提是小朋友要聽爸爸話, 讓外人看起來爸爸對照顧小朋友也有一定參與)
由非父母帶來, 或和要工人一起來的 (暗示小朋友依賴工人多於父母), (名校)多數會扣分
3. 如父母要一同面試, 2人都要發言, 比例不要太不平均

I have 2 boys and now one studying k2 at KV and the smaller one is going to KV for K1 too.  I am a working mom and my elder boy is a shy boy too.   I do think interview performance and characteristics are more important.  during the interview, teachers would ofter ask how much time you spend with your kid and what do you do during leisure time.  so both the quantity and quality of the time you spend together would count.  

but i think 2008 kids was not as competitive as these 2 years so my son still got accepted by KM for PN and then KV for K1.  My smaller son (born in 2010 May) is more active and eager to talk and knows 1- 10 and A-Z when applied for PN, all waiting list and only got a place in Cannan in the PM session.  

Not sure if having daddy to attend interviews will have extra marks.  but when i go to SC interview last year, almost half were daddy.  So the extra marks may not help.  Besides, some kids tend to feel more comfortable with mummy so it may also be very risky.  

One example when i attend 浸幼 interview is that during the group interview, the teachers tend to ask daddy a lot of questions.  But some daddy may not prepare well and cannot answer.

但我聽聞D PN會覺得做教書GE, 未必有咁多時間教小朋友WO

I think occupation does matter. Last year, PN interview, I was a working mum. Interviewed almost 10 schools, only 3 offers. This year, K1, I m a FTM. interviewed 5 schools, all AM offers.

Not in my case. We are working parents and didn't get good offers in PN, but got many good offers in K1. I think it depends on the performance of the kid and parents. The kid can grow up and improve a lot in one year.

其實FTM/F冇直接影響。但好多傳統名幼收生會睇小朋友有冇禮貌，自律，自理能力。FTM和工人比，當然前者會敎得好啲、足啲。機會自然大啲。要攪清因果關係。

Same here!  Agree that most of the KGs would look at interview performance (of both kid and parent)!
