Any comment on these two boys' schools, in terms of homework, teaching approach, students' strength (e.g. sports and academics) and teachers?

Not yet ar, but we plan to have the 2nd baby :)

I am interested in YW because of the principal and seems less drilling in academic. But my hubby is St Joseph old boy and we got 20 marks already. Not sure the chance of lucky draw for the latter though. However, heard that St Joseph has too many homeworks. Is it true?

初小唔算多，半個鐘~1個鐘內完成。長假期冇乜功課，中英閱讀報告(簡單)。
總之頭3年都輕鬆。
要好視乎你仔仔做功課時會否坐得定做，還是寫一，兩個字就走去搞東搞西，如是這，得一樣功課都可以做成粒鐘! 拖慢版做

thanks for sharing! Oh maybe the comment on St Joseph primary i got was not that accruate. Could you tell whether students enjoy their school life in st joseph and are they given wide exposure in non-academic areas such as sports and speech, etc?

一定ST JO啦,上到中學都係ST JO!!!
英華轉直資都是幾年時間,加油啦~...現在英華中學就不及ST JO,ST JO強好多~~~

表面比較. 英華始終一條龍. 比起只是直屬中學的聖若瑟. 更有保障.

兩間照報照考。都係傳統教學，SJ唔清楚，YW會搞活動提高學習動機。主要分別係直屬和龍校，考試壓力唔同。

你揀學校時學校揀學生，到時再算。

SJP 課外活動的種類非常多，不用擔心，例如各種球類、樂團、泳隊，還有其他各種興趣班，很多同學都會參加，其實，兩間都報，根本沒有衝突，兩間都不會太容易入，收了再想吧！ Good Luck！

YW和其他小學不同之處在這討論區都有很多頁。三月尾YW有簡介會，之後會把片段upload上網，到時親身了解會好啲。
