Wow!  If the school does not expand its capacity few years down the road, the vacancies might not even be sufficient for Singaporeans...

Those originated from China who are able to obtain Singapore passport, are usually professionals or highly demanded talents.

I didn't mean they r not. I just wanna point out why there r more and more Singaporeans and less seats available.

I didn't mean they r locusts. I won't judge others behaviours. It's normal to try to get whatever u can for the sake for your kids. But it's v depressing for everyone to go thru such keen competition. Just add oil everyone.

I see your point.  Singapore population has indeed increased fast in recent years due to China immigrants.  You can refer to yesterday news headlines.  And due to globalisation, I am sure there will be more and more Singaporeans living in Hong Kong.

Yes that's something we can't escape. Just equip ourselves lor. But it's so hard for our kids. If I can't get a seat in is or independent schools I dunno how many schools I need to apply next yr. local school battle is more horrible.

I couldnt agree more.  My boy is only19 months old now.  And competition will only get stiffer each year.  I guess we just have to reconcile ourselves to the situation at that moment.  Anyway add oil!
