Yew Chung International School (Secondary) 校風好唔好?

My son is studying P.6 in a local school.  As a band 2 boy, he may not be accepted by a local EMI school.  Is Yew Chung Secondary good?  Thanks.

The school will arrange a written test, Chinese, English and Mathematics, and an interview.

Chinese and Maths are normally easy for local kids, English is the challenge.

My son did the english entrance test for primary and it was so hard. After a few week later, he had to do the second test which was IQ test because he didn't do well in  in the first interview. Luckily, he got an offer in Year 5 english intensive program.

ISF 仲有超多雜費，YC only school fee $15k. Secondary school 先比$200k. Correct me if I m wrong .

Yew Chung 小一至小六 $15,175, 全年$151,750。


ISF 小學部，學費每年$134,750， 加composition fee $7600，加capital scheme (一筆過refundable $200,000 或首一年45,000, 翌年幾以後$30,000）

都係貴，不過吳算差好遠。

What does ISF stand for?  Sorry for my limited knowledge about international school as my child is in a local primary school.  
I like the IGCSE programme of Yew Chung.  As my child may not go to an EMI secondary school, Yew Chung seems to be a good choice to him.

iSF是弘立。

吳清楚Yew Chung  學術，不過校風應該是ok的。住果度有幾個高小或初中Yew Chung生，表現都幾乖考巧。

弘立近年個勢好好，如果budget  到，可以認真考慮吓。

Yew Chung 學費已包了很多雜費，如學校本地宿營、學校outing及車費，學校又不會要家長捐款。我小孩將會在4月份跟學校去澳洲交流一星期，機票連食宿及參觀費都只是萬多元，我相信跟旅行社參加澳洲旅行團都唔止這個價錢。當然學校都不會強迫學生參加的。

本地露營是要另外俾錢架，我女年年都要俾，上年11月去三日兩晚都俾咗27xx

聽說ISF ECA 每樣要錢，二千一樣，加埋加埋唔少野。YC 唔知。

You are probably right.  Some IS do offer ECA free of charge.   Cost is not necessarily a problem, but as you guys are talking about costs, it should be kept in mind.

係要每個學生都要帶，你可以係學校訂，亦可以自己買，不過大部份都會係學校訂，到y7功課開始多，夜晚會夜d先訓覺，而且d老師要求越黎越高，個人認為幾好
