首先你攪清楚，係樓主出post要比較，要問意見喎，咁我咪話有咩好比較，兩間都好，咁會有衝突?又唔係我問,真唔明?
同埋你自己唔啱聽就話其他家長害人，咪一樣接受唔到意見，你鐘意sc冇問題，你覺得sc好都冇問題，我都鐘意sc，不過我只係唔認同難入等如好學校，因為難入就要讀，希望你明白

我係去年apply K1的家長，有啲話自己同SC無關係，又無讀過York的家長，不斷追擊同York有關的post。講到讀York就低人一等…之後就會有一班York的家長企出來，為自己仔女讀的學校平反! 今日，就被說成有York sales，要講到York好好:;pppp:

我諗好多York的學生，都係所謂名校唔收的學生。如果York能將呢啲學生教得好，入名小學，咁呢間學校好唔好? 名校都歧視細仔，起碼York唔會!

睇來真係唔好問有關York同任何學校的比較。雖然York係好多年前係有唔好的新聞，新聞都是事實，但已經係舊聞! 如果大家喜歡，就讓York的名聲係EK繼續沉淪，讓有心讀York的家長，自己去問[真正用家]的實際情況/意見，了解多啲! 係呢度睇埋呢啲無休止的批評，無理據的貶低，真係無咩用!

喜歡名校的，繼續去追求心中的名校!

Ps. 我係York家長，我對York的教學好滿意!

agree!!! 而家九龍塘名稚都係喜歡收大仔, 細仔當然有, 但就好少. 當年我女又係細女, 得york同佢既姊妹學校收, 佢地一d都冇岐視細仔細女, 老師都好用心教, 課程都幾深下, 以我個女為例, K2已識密寫英文大少楷同幾十個Vocrab. 中文可以寫到幾十個生字, 所教既都幾廣泛, 平時冇出去補習.  我覺得就算考小學成績唔理想的話, 起碼係知識上佢都學到野已經好好. 教學應該係有教冇慮, 而唔係選擇好既黎教....

老實講,YORK貴得來真係, 間幾谷既學校...我見姨甥女ONLY係元朗萊茵,成績都不錯,佢既同學仔教考到陳守仁都大有人在.....
SC 既朋友媽媽都好讚...話LANGUAGE 好好....END UP 都考到陳守仁
兩校唔好既評語都係一般聽到既YORK-->教職員太冷漠,COMMERICAL,貴...
SC--->中文水平一般,搞左PN CLASS後成績/教學差左....

身為父母既....要決定小朋友既前路,真係15/16...難以取捨...都係盡量想聽多D意見.....

正如之前SN都收左AM CLASS....都好似人人都收,因為朋友仔女INTERVIEW 表現唔好..唔識答問題都通通都收.....我唔係話面試一定要睇你本身識幾多野,有幾多知識,當然,小朋友行為表現都重要........有人又表揚佢既小班教學.....但END UP我地冇留位(當時已有YORK OFFER),因為始終小朋友能力OK,想比佢去谷一點既學校.........

到而家有SC OFFER.....真係難決定.....因為各有優點....唯有一路多聽意見,多問兩者既用家朋友........起碼不是急於立即要下決定MA......

真係好多謝大家既意見.......感激....

I'm not a fan of any school because my baby has not joined any school k1yet. My baby went to york's play group but it's quite messy as too many children in same class n it's annoying when the parent start talking n repeat teachers' instruction. Therefore I quit.

Having said that we went for York k1 interview n interview was conducted in english. The teacher can only understand English and have native accent. This is something that I like. Whether its commercial or not is not my main consideration as long as they deliver the quality n my kid is safe there.

My concern is more about the safety of my kid as I heard rumor here which says the school took the kids to supermarket in order to escape investigation regarding too many class??? Also heard about the school bus stuff... I wish they can take care of each kid and put their safety in the first place. As for  the acadamic result .. It's just kindergarten though I don't think there is huge difference between these famous school..

I also searched york in you tube and found few clips. I like the way they teach but i m not sure how many student in one class for k1. Kindly let me knowif u are a york parent

As for st cat. I like it because my 表弟studied there long time ago.. However since my girl was born in nov 2010 so only can try the st cat pn interview.

We got offer from st johannes n york ...we willhv interview for st cat pn class...It's a choice between York /st johannes k1 and st cat pn (if they give offer） dont know what to choose

Don't worry! Each class got a classroom. Parents will pick up their own kids from classroom. Each classroom have the monthly birthday star chart.

My son is also a small Boy. He was born in October 2009. He is now studying K1 in York International. I would only let him repeat K1 if his teachers said he was not capable of keeping pace of the teaching in school. I suggest you to let her be small b this year and try applying K1 again next year.
