我小朋友係細仔，上年Co-ed冇去in，DBS入到決賽，今年我叫佢試多次但佢唔制，佢話鐘意YW,吾想去in，就算去 ...

嘩, 你個仔同你講如果in都唔出聲? 咁佢好利害~~~!
其實冇中學backup的, 家長真係會由小一起一直在作戰狀態. (小朋友可以話知你, 但父母一定係)
就算讀aps, 話小一是honeymoon, 但其他同學襯你honeymoon, 已開恆turbo, 先漸上峰, 永無休止.....

甘佢話仲意YW,仲意林校長,唔想走,我就話上年DBS入到決賽可能因你太細(in果時未有5歲),今年仲可玩多次,不如去挑戰下...佢就話唔制,仲話我唔出聲答問題,羅校長就一定唔收...哈哈,比佢激親,不過,16/6去YW交尾數竟撞到幾個同幼稚園家長,分外親切,骨子里我地一家都超仲意YW,唔會出走

Haha, same as our situation. my son had offer from SFA, APS, Pui Ching and YW 2 years ago. we choose YW finally, I only struggled about the offer of SFA but rejected APS immediately. its totally different style between APS and YW.APS also a good school but most parents like YW style more like me.

YWPS is definitely a good school and the DSE results of YWC can only be better when the students from the feeder school start to participate in the examination.

Having said that, both APS and SFA are very good primary schools and strong in both academic and extra-curriculum activities (APS - Music, SFA - Maths). Indeed both schools win a primary school debate competition this year. Despite without a through train secondary school, secondary school allocation of APS / SFA, is probably the best in Kowloon side. Look at the historical data in their websites, you can see that 25% of the boys can be allocated to Band 1A schools like SPCoed / QC / LS / DBS. However, getting into top 25% in these school is not easy and no guarantee.

In all, choose YWPS if you don't want to take any risk. You and your kid should have a happier primary school life.

Choose APS / SFA if your kid (or you) are so desperate to get into those most elite schools. Your whole family need to work really hard to achieve this target. However, more than 50% of chance that your kid will be allocated to a school inferior to YWC.

你講的才是事實，play safe既家長才揀YW , 但APS真係幾貴！

其實大家有否想過APS兩年內入DBS學生的人數究竟係憑成績定係體育叻而入DBS呢，而我所知APS係排球和TABLE　ＴＥＮＮＩＳ係學界取得好成績。眾所周知，ＤＢＳ會收一Ｄ體育叻。所以七折八扣，其實可能靠成績入的不如大家所想的

所以操排球好過操成績。至少competitors冇咁多，同埋排球冇咁ＨＩＴ，易操易學。。入ＤＢＳ就係咀咁簡單。不過ＤＢＳ都係有時得７Ｘ％　入大學。因為特異功能效應

又不是立志做排球運動員！這樣入到DBS讀書又如何？還又不過袛是為校增光，被利用完就算了！，對你孩子一點好處也沒有！

我個女不才，未有資格被利用，更何况我冇蚊比佢讀宣小。只不過路過此題，只帶出一點。就是宣小之所以比其他學校學生入到dbs既比率高是:可能因為運動叻，不是外界所想的派位特別好。所以不要只信人講或選擇性公佈派位結果

不過有些家長會操仔女一項運動。排球是一項好選擇。想一想，你估操水易攞獎定操排球易攞。

We have similar situation: YW vs APS vs Pui Ching. We have chosen YW, for it's thru-train Band 1B secondary school, larger campus(no open-air playground in APS). But most important, no need to worry again 6 years later!!
