I know LPCUWC used the test to assess candidates in the admission process. I wrote some about the test last year, you can search in the EK.

BTW, HKEA only organise the junor form level ie G7/8 and  there is only 2 titles -Math ( 2 paper )  and English.

I think it is only useful if u plan to let your kid to enter selected school in Aus. Otherwise, it seems not so well known in HK
