宜家猶豫是否要寄宿了。。。

我前年去學校簡介會及參觀學校時, 當時我都道聽塗說住宿不太嚴格, 參觀女宿舍時我捉住個長期住宿高中女同學 (佢係天水圍住)問住宿紀律事情, 佢講住宿時學校唔會收手機 (匯基東九係強制收手機, 星期五出宿舍時才俾返學生), 但該女同學講舍監嚴架, 不時巡房, 如果做功課時俾舍監發現用手提電話係有罰的, 我唔記得罰收手機定係其他野, 如果多次重犯, 係會罰唔俾住宿一段時期的. 該女同學當時話住宿都嚴架

According to the report, local degree course and 33222 rate is not showed.  Difficult to assess the banding of this school even after reading the report.

Think I will analysis the school from these few aspects:

Banding
No questions the school has an excellent campus and good heart loving teachers.   The banding will normally comes from the students themselves.  Eg: SPCC , apart from their own excellent primary students, they intake mostly the top three ranking students from each school ( they are all band 1A students ), so no doubt they could be the top top band 1A school.

For SSC students, most of the students come from their primary ( I would classify them as band 1 student due to the resources from the parents and the school) and some intake from outside.   Of course SSC would give schlorship to attract the top students then acceptance letter to the successful candidate.   Those successful candidates are also the top students who applied their school.  From this aspect, (regardless the DSE result ) I will not regard them as some band 2 school

Student performance
I knew some students from SSC, they are confident, outspoken and very good at both Eng and Chi.   They provide good English teachers and also a good environment.  They like the school very much and love going to school.   I think this is important.  This is just similar to an adult loving their work place.

Like most of the DDS which provide IB course, part of the students have gone to take IB , some overseas and remaining DSE.  Of course , I am not sure why the school does not publish th whole result.  Apart from their uptrending IB result, some students said their DSE result is very promising.  Some tuition centre said the academic level of SSC is not easy ( 都幾深)

My friend shared their 2017 IB result with me. Total 30 out of 35 students passed, 2 got 44 marks and 9 got 40+. Students continued their studies at Cambridge, UCL, Warwick, Imperial, Durham, UC San Diego, Sheffield, ST. Andrews, UBC, Nottingham, Bristol, King’s College, Syracuse, CUHK, HKU, HKUST.......as school didn’t pick IB students for this year, I think these results already good enough.

小兒剛獲學校取錄，想了解学校有否提供校巴往東九龍？若在將軍澳上車，上車時間約在何時?謝！

這個我不清楚，因亞仔寄宿。但亞仔話有同學在西灣河站轉14 巴士

兒子來年將在聖提升讀中一，現考慮是否讓他寄宿 ， 由於本人未有參加簡介會 想請教現在聖提嘅家長。 寄宿生如在學習上遇上困難 ，學校是否有任何配套支援？ 另外，知道寄宿生晚飯後有溫習時段， 請問上述温習時段是在房間又或是在課室進行? 謝謝各位！

Not sure the Introduction mentioned such details. So far as I have been informed, the self-discipline is required even the aid & support is provided. I saw there is quite a space in the dormitory area, with PC and magazines selectively.
