RCHK? Any academic stress?

Hi parents out there, I would like to hear from you about RCHK.  Does the school put a lot of pressure on students about achieving good academic scores?

RC is a good school and the kids are very happy there. Chinese is stronger than other ESF school.

It's the parents not the school. The life in primary school is happy ( no exam & not much homework in junior)

How are the kids' language skills in terms of speaking, reading, and writing?

Speaking - not a problem
Reading - varies with guided reading program at school
Writing - the students will be taught in the lessons. Year three: Recount, procedural writing, poem, narratives and etc.
The students will take int'l assessments in upper years.

Thank you.  Is there a high teachers turnover rate?

Also, how much influence does PTA have on school policies?

Turnover rate - not particularly high comparing to other schools.

PTA=RAPT in RC, the committees are enthusiastic and nice. But recently they go too neutral / mild on the 4.5 school days issue.

What will you say about kids' value perception in this school?  Are there lots of wealthy people here?

Rich people and families are everywhere,esp in DSS and Int'l schools.  
However, family education is important.  The kids would learn from their parents.  So be positive, live humble and simple, then you would get what you want.
