Thanks for your info.

It sounds SPCC used more IB curriculum to evaluate the suitability of students. Personally, I am not support this move, may not fair for students from local schools and biased IS schools.

As you said Jennifer is very very helpful to answer questions, and provide positive recommendations for my boy.

Not necessarily leaning towards IB curriculum.  The English poem can be found in many other websites, e.g. http://www.scribd.com/doc/51284592/Child-and-Insect

My daughter further told me that she learned similar poem strategies in her English Literature lessons.  It is a poem that demonstrates many literary strategies.  She is studying in a traditional local girls' school in Kowloon Tong.  My son also joined her to analyse the poem last night. He said he might be a classmate of your son. You may ask your son whether he agrees that the poem is leaning towards IB curriculum or English Literature.

Sorry to hear that.... Focus on NSS and don't give up, you and your daughter.
