Any tips how to arrange pick up after ECA?

My son will join YW faimily in coming Sept.  I heard that there are many ECA after school and there is no school bus service to pick up children after ECA.  Any tips how to pick them up?  I really do not want him to give up ECA because I cannot pick him up.  Thank you so much.

In some districts where there is nanny bus service, they have 2nd-round pickup to cater for ECA.  PTA may be able to help you locate these current
nanny bus services.  You will still have time, as ECA's start to be offered by the end of Sept or early Oct.

It depends on your needs.  I don't think you need to pay for the schoolbus service as early as June - we didn't.  However, I suggest you ask the schoolbus company some time after visiting the school in June (when the schoolbus company gathers the intention of parents) and check whether their route, pickup time, etc. are desirable.

Activities after school - it depends on how many activities you want to engage in.  Basically, it's not compulsory to attend classes on musical instruments or sports activities conducted in school - you can attend outside classes.  If your son is recruited by the school teams, such as school choir, percussion, orchestra, etc., and you choose to join these teams, he will need to stay after school or go on Sat to practise for once a week normally, or more often if a competition is coming soon.  I would say the school does offer a wide variety of ECA's for students to join.

Homework and English level - I will send you a PM as it may be better to start a new thread for later reading by other parents and this thread is about ECA's and picking up the boys after them.
