各位媽媽覺得考小學辛苦d，定係幾年前考幼稚園﹖

I guess most parents think primary school application is more tough than kindergarten application because the consequence is different.  Kindergarten only affects 4 years at most.  Primary school will affect the coming 6 or even 12 years.  Besides, a "top" kindergarten may not be that much better than an average kindergarten.  But a "top" primary school may mean much more than an average (or even below average) primary school .....

我記得我小朋友幼稚園interview時成嚿飯咁，所以好多幼稚園都考唔到，失望是有，但覺得沒什麼大不了，都係果句，總有書讀嘅。

到今年考小學，當然很多嘢要預備，但我反而覺得很充實，好似幫小朋友呢五年人仔做一個小小嘅總結咁。

我總覺得平常心好緊要，知道小朋友總會有書謮。我哋兩老不時互提不要給自已和小朋友太大壓力，好多事都不是你估計到的 (尤其係interview)。我眼見有啲小朋友明明已有唔錯嘅offer，但不是父母所願，現在狂谷小朋友到6月再嚟過，真是苦了小朋友又苦了大人。

I remember that for the last round interview of one primary school that attend with parents with the headmaster. One part that I think the children not answer very well. After the interview, I blame and scold him during back home and he said that he had tried his best and cry to forgive him and swear that he will answer it better next time. Actually, I feel very sorry for blaming him and though finally the school accept him.

So I think that parents should take it easy for P1 application especially I expect the competition will be more keen next year.

想問吓你們是否考私小或直資才有這些壓力？如果是叩門(津貼/公立小學)是否都有這種壓力？

有人會向上望, 不過如果間學校已經係一間好學校, 我會選擇堅守原地 :)

如果本身龍校已經是top tier那批，除非小朋友讀得唔開心，否則和同學仔、學校有6 或甚至9年感情，我就唔捨 得走，去到全港第一那間如何？ 分分鐘倫為拿獎工具。

睇你係派得ok而去叩門，定派得差而去叩門啦!

派得差而去叩門嘅壓力一定比考私小/直資大好多倍壓力！
因為位只淨好少。

我仔仔九月開始考小一，我依家已經覺得好大壓力同擔心。我自己份人一向唔係太識減壓,依家成日提自己不要強求，只求盡力！
