Total 231 places - 120 (for primary section) - 24 (school nominations) = 87 places for 450 boys / girls interviewed, so the chance is less than 20%. More realistically, an offer will go to top 87 boys/girls who are in the top 20 percentile, i.e. out performing and winning over 360 contestants, who are shorlisted ones and not "anyones" from the pool of applicants. So, the chance is extremelllllllyyyyyy slimmmmmmm..... This is my personal view on my kid only. Not intended to cast on any other applicants.

btw, 囝囝學校考第1x(無特異功能),
另一個大約 band 1 尾(唔知有無特異功能),
都有去in,
所以都好多人有得in.

據我所知, SPCC 係睇全港排名而取決有無得interview, 排名去到10幾既話通常無得interview. 除非考生以Young talents apply 除外.

我囡學校都係得幾個人有得interview, 其中一位係 outstanding student which has been admitted by 1st round.

其實給general admission 的位無87 個咁多
因為你無計學校提名（助學）的位，這些位是3月12日才公佈. 而且是優先處理的。還有，SPCC 還收了一些學校提名(全級第一) 但沒有獎學金的。這兩批學位我們是不知有多少。如假設這兩批學位有10個，那general admission 的命中率只會有 77／450 = 17% 。但是如果落在waiting list 上會是會有機會的，因為，有一些收了SPCC offer 而dgs 也收的，一定要放棄其中一間，那waiting 的女仔便可補上。

Thank you for sharing. It means the chance is even less. Any idea how girls would choose between SPCC and DGS if offered a place by both school. Which school is more popular amongst the girls?

當正式收生後, spcc好似會有張後備表, 當註冊日期完, 會即刻開始call後備學生........識人5月call佢, 而且可以係派位公布當日先決定讀唔讀(當日正午前)
唔好灰心/傷心, 或有驚喜!

Last year, two of my friends's girls are admitted by DGS and SPCC。 Both of them chose DGS cos they live in NT and their favorite classmates were admitted by DGS only.
