Non discount period will be better, and it also depends on the availablity of the book. Normally the site will specify if the book you ordered can be despatched with 24 hours or 48 hours or even longer. that may affect your delivery time.

The longest period I had waited for is around 14 days, while the shortest one is just 4 days. I am going to order by end of this week.

我都有係BD訂過十幾本英文圖書和琴書.
很快便可以收到圖書,只可惜的是十幾本書都是個別以厚紙皮信封連收據寄出,我覺得要收足十幾本厚紙皮信封有點浪費和唔環保.

I recently got two "Andrew Lost" books. This series (about 10 books) is quite interesting and I think most boys would like it. I think they are suitable for boys studying P.2 and onwards.

Also, I got "Avengers" from Joint Publishing yesterday. It is based on the movie and it immediately becomes my boy's No. 1 book because he just watched the movie in the weekend.

前日借左The Monster Story-Teller 女女好喜歡. 多謝大家既介紹.

The Monster Story-Teller 用字簡單又經常重複, 好0岩初手去睇.

另外借左本Horrid Henry Early reader, 佢都喜歡.

The story of King Midas getting donkey ears is in both books and is told in much more details in the Usborne one. The Atticus book covers 100 short stories, the Usborne book has fewer stories but each one is much longer. We already have an Orchard Greek myths story book so I buy one with more new stories. But The Usborne book's glossary will be excellent as a companion book to The Percy Jacksons! Difficult to choose, right?

A-mum,
Thanks for your opinion.  I would then first purchase the one you bought, then set my eye on the Usborne one later.  My daughter's school use Greek Myth as their P.5 English module, so I would like to feed her some backgroud. . . well, though there is still 3years to go.

This round I purchase more book for myself as I am addicted to J.R. Ward's vampire series and cannot find them in the public library.

I bought few puzzle books for my daughters.  I found the Everything kids' series puzzle book is quite interesting from Dymock, so I order some from BD.

Horrid Henry 係好曳，但early reader版既結局佢做左曳野通常都會受到教訓，所以我都會俾女睇，佢睇時我又加把口同佢討論下。

阿囡今年瘋狂地喜歡看Enid Blyton的書, 最喜歡的series 有: Thy Mystery series, Famous Five series, The Adventure series, Naughtiest Girl series, Malory Tower series, St Clare's Series, etc. 不過, 仍未睇過wishing chair series.

她最近亦看了CS Lewis 的 Narnia.
