mind to tell your b's birthday month?

if going to KLT YORK, will you send your b by your own/maid? or have to take the school bus?


first to tell my coworker is an engineer, his advice and decision is more based on facts than fame of the school...

VIC is known for high rate to go to SP Co-Ed and their own IB school... though the language training is good, it is a happy and easy school. what if the b could not get in elite school like SPC and VIC IB school is not your cup of tea. VIC KG is affilated to their primary and IB seccondary school. so, their training would favour for international school rather than local school.

My b is Feb b!  I think it's ok to travel by school bus when going to York at 3 years' old!

想問係唔係除咗 8月, 早啲1, 2月都有HEAD STARTER班呀? 我點解睇你地的POST覺得好似有人係年頭HEAD STARTER 咁?
我想問, 主任話我地2014的K1都會跟返自己HEAD STARTER班的時間, 如果係AM就AM, 國際就國際, 雙語就雙語. 假如放棄HEAD STARTER, 註明一定要出年八月讀K1, 就冇得選擇, 唔知會派AM定OM, 國家定雙語, 呢個係我2月11日開完個BRIEFING得到的MESSAGE, 對不對?

2013年 2月 插班係for 大b..專登開一班 (4/2講座應該有講)

我剛打去york問過:
校方答覆話2014既k1 "沒有" guarantee會跟返自己HEAD STARTER班的時間
(ie並不是國際班就升國際 雙語就雙語)
他們說會有"優先考慮".."但要睇小朋友平時上堂(2013 k1 head start)既表現"

至於上下午班就照跟返2013 k1 head start既時間

好像不是這樣安排(見我上一帖)

另外我記得當日(11/2)收form果位姐姐都話唔guarantee 到時2014年 8月 k1會一定收返做國際班(如果2013 k1 offer 國際)

或者你介唔介意打去york問多一次好嗎?

他們當日(11/2)是說只要我們這些細b(2010年10月/11月)肯做超大b.即係2013年讀k1 head start + 2014 re-study k1既話
咁就會自動編排我地呢d細b入2013年 k1 head start 國際班 (除非家長唔想小朋友讀國際班..咁先至需要在form上面註明不要國際班)

因為我個仔係超細b(12月尾) , 我記得當日問主任如果我地accept 2013年讀k1 head start +  2014 re-study k1既offer (即做大B) , 但我又想2014 re-study K1時入國際班, 需唔需求係字條上註明呢個要求 . 主任答案係如果接受字條上既offer即大b , 咁re-study K1就會直接入國際班唔洗再註明 . 我原本寫左呢個request係字條佢都叫我delete .

但係我昨日親自打去問york果位宋小姐
她答覆話: "只有優先權 + 睇小朋友在 2013年 k1 head start 上堂時既表現 先決定直升2014 k1時係唔係入國際班."

11/2 當日我無聽到校長講(可能我miss左果part...)
但當我地即場交form (確認要accept re-study 張form)時. 我曾經問過收form果位小姐(職員)
她當時的答覆是"不保證" (即係我地2013年8月 k1 head start 國際班等到要升2014年8月k1時係不保證會直升入國際班)
除非我聽錯..所以我一直在這裡及之前的帖子不斷問有無當日一齊出席11/2既家長係咪都係聽到係咁....

2月4日briefing, 很確定校長話head start 後, 直昇國際班, 因為有家長問校長, 唔上國際班得唔得, 校長話:"得! 得! 得!"


給合論壇上其他資料, 跟我家董事長分析, 似乎pn, k1國際 及k1雙語是不同學校發offer 的... 現在以k1國際名義, 發head start國際給我們, 跟著又名義上重讀k1 (同學校?!) , 是否等同一定國際班? 或者說, 是否比pn (child care center) 昇上k1國際(international kindergarten) 更大機會?? reception 不知就裡, 只以官方答案回應, pn 上國際班要assessment?!!

以上假設給大家參考一下...


綜合用家意見, york 的學生各方訓練都不錯, 所以縱使負面流言不斷, 仲有咁多家長投考... 真係好想俾次機會己和學校...  但行政方面似乎真係幾亂...  其實係咪應該有明確規章制度, 唔係位位職員講野都唔同, 日日鮮, 或者..... 校長退居幕後唔好攪行政...

唔係事事親力親為就好... 董伯伯前車可鑒...

I remember clearly on 4/2 briefing, headmistress said whole head start class will be promoted to same K1 class!  That means head start international class to K1 international class, right?
