讀ESF kindergarten入唔到ESF小學,點算好？

請同樣情況的家長分享一下經驗吧！轉讀main stream 學校會否有困難？是否只有報讀其他IS?一般家長怎樣選擇呢？請指敎！

My suggeston:Better to apply as many IS as U can! Include Kettex, IMS，Yew Chung,CIS,ICS，SIS,CAIS,RC,HKIS.....interview More..More Chance!

Last year some people choose CAIS after they were rejected by ESF primary and got the offers.  You can try.

Some ESF primary school, such as clearwaterbay, might have more space. May be you can try. But maybe the location is a bit far to you.

CWBS has no space, not even for cat 1!

都 reject 了，而家去 cwb  入 form，點可能有機會 ？
係都先收之前 on waiting list 個 d  小朋友啦
同埋 esf 係睇 catchment area 的，剛被 reject，點可以又申請另一間 ？

一般都係讀其他 is
main stream  k3 要寫好多字，中文亦唔淺，我估較難識應
不過要早 d 步署，一早就應該申請多幾間學校，唔可能話收了 reject letter 先諗

問下自己, 入唔返esf係 咩原因先?  真係有d 小朋友 英文程度未達標, 就不如考慮返 k3 再繼續本地小學,  而家轉係有d唔習慣,  但要留意越早選擇, 對家長和小朋友的影響越小.

我覺得近年太多家長讓自己的小朋友入國際學校關係. 上一兩年都冇咁worst. RC, ESF or CAIS 收生率好高. 而且唔會話冇得IN. 依家真係頭痛. 我個仔今年九月要報考RC & CAIS, 都唔知點好! 我朋友個女依家讀ESF K1, 佢地兩公婆打算俾個女去ICS repeat K1 (超細女).

既然 p1 reject 了，點可能而家先申請其他 esf 會有位？
你又叫人申請 cwb，而家又話 mos
其實間間 esf 都一早截晒 p1 application，好多一早入 form，而家都未有 interview
有 d pass interview 又未有位，要 on waiting list，等有人唔留位先有機會
而家先入 form ，根本可以話冇可能會有機會
我唔係話要串你，但有時比 suggestion 都要 logical d

跟本有d人連遊戲規則都未知點玩,  又無準備,  唔清楚就係到亂教人, 睇多d舊post先來出post教人吧

From your description, the situation seems to be as follows:-

There are 25 kids in the class, 6 of them are Cat One, so the remaining 19 must be Cat Two. In other words, around 1/4 of the class are Cat One, and 3/4 are Cat Two.

Almost everyone in the class had an interview with Renaissance, but only 1/4 of the class were given interviews with Shatin Junior, and this 1/4 are those 6 Cat One kids.

5 out of the 6 Cat One kids got offers from Shatin Junior, a high success rate, though some of them were rejected by Renaissance (probably because these kids don't know Chinese).

9 out of  the 19 Cat Two kids got offers from Renaissance, success rate is half-half, and they could not go to Shatin Junior because they weren't even given an interview.

11 kids (1 Cat One and 10 Cat Two) have no offers yet.


If we analyze the situation above, the Cat One kids are doing fine as most of them are through to Shatin Junior, but Cat Two kids are facing more difficulties, they either go to Renaissance or exit the ESF system altogether and go to other international schools or local schools.

RC test the English ability of kids during interview. Knowing Chinese or not is not a factor. There are Indians and westerners studying in RC, they don't know Chinese as well but got accepted.
