Of course DGJS, the top school in HK for girls, no matter it's on academic, personal development and network. Guess those on DGJS waitlist will be very happy if you give up your seat.
well, i am not sure why your 旁邊 人 would say so, it could be out of jealousy, it could be out of the knowledge about the school which makes them think DGJS' students are super-girls.
my own opinion is that if your girl could go through into 2nd round of interview and ultimately got the offer, I believe both of your academic standard and personality are outstanding among the peer.
You should be confident of your daughter, not just for now, but going on in the years in her life! That should be the most important lesson you learn from this incident.
(P.S. you mention that religion is not a factor and that's why I have the above comments. If you were a Catholic, SPC may well fit into your family value more, given it is also a great school).
