每次in 完我都會問小朋友好唔好玩。佢次次都話好好玩，但今次佢只係話"要做worksheet lor…＂

各位家長,
我囡囡也考了第二次面試. 她說出的內容跟大家的也相若.
她簡單的說:just do the worksheet!
我聽了之後, 有一點意外!
連CKY也是這樣?! 其他名校, 講明要收讀得寫得的 academic 小朋友, 明白.
但CKY一向強調的路線, 是愉快學習, 不強記, 不死谷, 以閱讀為學習基礎, 在初小強調聽說學習......
這才是我喜歡CKY的原因.
如今, 莫非CKY也向現實低頭? 校內的教學又會否而轉向為成績而谷學生呢? 真的有點担心!

幼稚園教深咗，小一又要教深啲，功課又多咗，assessment又要深啲，惡性循環，小朋友真無辜。

蔡繼有這幾年都不斷調整初小課程，以配合學生的需要，講到尾，課程是深了。話雖如此，我聽聞其它進取津小，將小一生當小三生教呢！很可悲呢！

Don't worry.  I think "getting more academic" is just the selection process.  If your child gets admitted to  CKY,  he/she will enjoy the school life as CKY still faithfully implements what it advocates.

嗰日對出世紙時同主任傾咗幾句，佢叫我唔洗咁擔心，佢哋唔係咁簡單睇小朋友識唔識、答錯就冇分。我諗可能係真，因為阿囡1st in 英文又唔識、計數又計錯都有second in。我都好希望CKY堅持自己信念，俾小朋友愉快學習。

話係咁話，學校其實都會俾機會弟妹，如其它人考80分時，弟妹60多分仍有機會被錄取，這就是學係所謂的唔係咁簡單單睇小朋友識唔識囉。

For my girl, she said the song was so funny to sing with. She looked so happy for this game.

May I know which kindergarten that your daughter is now in?

It's really hard for kg kids to have dictation and comprehension etc....

我唔想開名。提示：因為課程唔淺，又係兩文三語，理念與蔡繼有接近，所以佢間幼稚園入蔡繼有的比例非常高。

我個女嗰班今年能入選蔡繼有第二輪面試的超過1/3，算唔算高呢！

呀囡都係話要做 papers
但佢又話好開心喎~ (但佢 in 間間都話開心...) :surprised:

經過威迫利誘, 個小朋友先肯講2nd in d情況,  係唱歌跳舞, 跟住睇video答問題, 跟住英文係看圖寫故事, 跟住畫圖畫, 跟住做中交paper, 做完又有時間的可以繼續畫埋幅畫.

阿女間幼稚園都係活動教學，無默書無考試架
我相信劉校長的教育理念。亦好喜歡CKY

Don't worry! My boy said the teacher wrote the vocabulary (both chinese and english) on the white board. They just copied them to their worksheets.
For MCQ, the teacher read the question and the choices for them twice beforehand.
He also told me with lot of time to draw his dream house after finishing the questions about the video. Teacher requested them to colour their houses also.
He enjoyed the sing-along part..."head and shoulders, knees and toes"...  He said teacher was nice, some children were told to follow their actions if they don't know how to sing the song.

BTW, anyone knows the selection process??...Just based on the marks of the 2 papers??...so the top 160 will get the seats??

我唔會覺得蔡繼有會變為填鴨教育，只是概歎收生只看成績的準則啫。
