I m a bit worry, as I always need to work out of HK,  my husband always busy at work and may happen unable to answer the call. What should I do?!

we don't have any priority and my waiting list number is almost 200 so the chance for interview next year is close to zero.

for now all I can do is to enroll him in a good English/mandarin school and wait to see if more seats will come up for kcis' primary.  And I will also give SWCK a try next year.

Don't just apply KCIS and SWCK. Make sure you have backup plan

you should apply SWCK when your child is 2 years old
I only apply KCIS and SWCK for my girl (for IS)
and i still have apply many local school kinders for backup

May I also ask that,what do they do in the interview? group playing? What do they ask to parents and the children? Thanks millions!!

Three parts of interview:

(1) Story telling: kids and parents sit in front of Ms. Wyatt (deptuy head) who will tell a story. Other teachers will observe reactions of individual children.

(2) Talks with parents: Ms. Wyatt will talk to individual parents, asking things like home language, current school. I believe this is the part which you can help your kids to gain admission.

(3) Interview in small group (3-4 children each): There will be two tables, each with a particular types of toys. Children will be asked to play the toys. Teachers will observe and ask individual child questions (such as colors, shapes, etc). Teachers will tick in the score-cards and take notes (this is more systemic than the admission interview in Mar 2011).

One parent is already enough. But some parents(including ourselves) accompanied their children. In my son's group interview, there were people from KCS N1, tutortime, Yew Chung, woodland
