anyone received letter from them regarding interview?

Receive nothing so far. Read at another thread saying that hillside sent their "play visit" letter in dec last year.

Just heard that letter has been sent out to those who have siblings.

More than 1300 applicants for 160 seats.  Excluding siblings and Cat 1, there may be around 60 or 80 seats left for Cat 2.

I am also worried that no school accept my girl.  If no IS to go, i might have to go back to LS.  But i don't have a K1 offer from any LS neither.

He has already got a seat in other LS, just pending ESP letter.  BTW, letter will be sent out before Christmas and playvisit will be arranged in early/mid Jan as usual.

Where did you get this info, it sounds a lot applicants, 1300?

Just got the letter for a play visit on Jan 9.

我到目前為止仲係咩都收唔到, 咁係咪完全無機會呢? 想比小朋友另一個選擇都咁難! 點解父母係香港人, 識講廣東話, 小朋友就唔可以有一個好d的選擇?

I also applied for hillside, but did not hear from them, seems the competition is so keen...so stressed if my son cannot get a chance for school visit.
My son is holding foreign passport, and we dont speak cantonese at home really has limited choice of local school...so worry....

I've got nothing from Hillside too - no play visit invitation, no waiting list and no rejection.  

Mister, may I know if you are Cat 1?

ESF group 有政府 funding,  我亦有交稅呀， 為什麼我小朋友不能有機會PLAY VISIT？？ 如他真的很STUPID 而最後不收， 我也沒話說， 但連見都不能見就很反感， 還是退回報名費吧。
我知道反而很多國內人的小朋友就有這個機會。我的小朋友亦不會說廣東話， 因為從一開始我們只和他說英語， 希望幫他為此作準備。現在就很徬徨。

從前的父母不會說英語， 可能不敢亦沒多餘錢比小朋友讀國際學校，那些年的規矩現在已不合用。請ESF好好考慮是不是要改一改不合時宜的規則。讓小朋友可以走一條本地教育以外的道路。

Just send email to enquire the status and they replied quickly with below
"

Thank you for your interest in ESF International Kindergarten. In response to your query, We have already sent out our offers but sad to say she wasn't got selected by random selection this time. Se will remain on the waiting list and if there is a vacancy comes up, we will pick up the next one on the waiting list by random selection again until we are full. "

Then I think that means no chance.....so upsad....

i think one of the reason is those experts worked in FI in Japan moved to HK .....
