其實點解唔收超大女呢 ?? 不是大一點學習及小肌肉更運用得好嗎 ??

你小朋友4歲讀K1, 咁即喺6-7歲讀完k3, 你要小心計算你小朋友到入小一時（即喺九月一日）是否已超出七歲零一日？！如是的話，你選小一計分你會少10分！因這10分是五歲零八個月至七歲先可以取得，亦即人人都有。
除非你放棄官津選校，直接考私小直資就不用戶理會！

咦~~乜咁架 ?? 我真係唔識喎....咁如果我仔仔係 9月23 號出世, 咁到小一有無超齡呢 ? 我唔係好識計添.....

when my boxing day girl went for interview the first year, the teacher did tell us to come back 1 year later!! But still we were unsuccessful the second year..

For a kg like shck, since they don't discriminate "small B" at all, then their uptake of super big B must be very very little compare to others..
(correct me if I am wrong Ian! )

what year and what month is your child born in? as mentioned above, if you had applied last year, and IF your child was born early Dec, you would had given equal chance as others..

for my case and my experience, I gut feeling is..the chance is low, being born end of Dec, and especially my girl is not smart, just average (but did managed to do everything she was asked during interview the second time...)

不過我都無再去深究了, 因為這都是上天安排的...假若當日真的入到, 都唔知點返學...though I liked this school a lot, my mother was a graduate from SH..

but i hate to discourage the mama who post this thread, my bet is, super big girl from Oct has 0 chance for k1 (sorry Ian again for jumping into conclusion!!! just don't want them to have false hope!! sorry!), but if she is keen enough, she should try k2 插班 and start writing letters now for next year!

Sorry for the late reply as I have been very busy lately.

As I mentioned before, I don't remember exactly the earliest allowed age limit is, it was either October or November of the previous year.  The best thing to do, is just to call the office and check!

There are NO school buses in Hung Hom, but as I know there is a private nanny bus.

I do agree that if for a October-born, probably it is a better idea to try to 插班, rather than re-applying.

For the cases of super-big B, it seems there are a bit more this year than before, but mainly December-born.

我是今年 NC (K1) 家長, 小女7月出世,但見到同學的出生月份很平均,而當中很多都是細女 (born in oct-dec),我自己識的都有幾個08年12月出生,有個媽咪話佢地個班有個仲係08年12月30日出生的 ! 所以我覺得聖心真是一間很公平的幼稚園,即使細女也有機會,好過某些幼稚園連申請的機會也沒有 !!
所以各位家長,細仔,細女依然有機會,不要放棄

我想我知道大慨機會率不會太大

只是小女在10月出生, 發展不快不慢, 其實我知道她一定跟得上一般幼稚園的進程, 只是害怕現在出生率越來越高, 要是不REPEAT, 三年後考直資/私校都不容易.

有怕大抽獎太沒有保障.

所以打算試多一年考龍校, 之後的保障就大很多.
我很BUY IAN的想法, 讀龍校, 讓孩子幼稚園的三年可以輕輕鬆鬆, 不用太擔心之後升小.

我知道, 因為出生率高, 聖心小學已不能收足幼稚園的小朋友.

出生率高是叫人最頭痛的.

今天和一個NOV10年的媽媽傾, 她告訴我完全找唔到明年的N位, 無學校肯收插班, 現在連屋村學校, 你想讀都未必有位.

另外一個可能性, 可能多了內地人在港生下的BB選擇在HK讀幼稚園, 所以就難上加難.

無論如何, 我會讓女兒試試SPK同培正REPEAT K1
(找些喜歡收超大B的學校...HAHA)

結果如何就交給天父啦, 我不是虎媽, 我只想女兒有一個快樂的童年, 只不過又不能不考慮現實因素.

至於插班popular 學校的K2, 我只是認為是一件很難的事, 一定難過當初考K1更多.

不過我都會試試, 我的女兒去INTERVIEW只是當去玩, 我亦不會給自己太大PRESSURE.

不過總算試過就是了
