Hi melvinlee,

我兒子也在復活節假前發現水機的水白色。

我想白色的原因是加了消毒粉，雖不致於喝壞人，但看來混濁的水，還帶點異味，正常小朋友也不會有興趣。

一直以來，我們是要兒子自帶一瓶水上學時飲用，並不鼓勵他飲用飲水機的水。

上月家長日, 曾順道親身往試用該問題飲水機, 發現已改善及沒問題了.

大考之Syllabus已出, 請上學校網站下載, 以便溫習及備試. 此外, 家長日老師告知大考13日中間部份日期沒試考用作學生溫習及休息之用.

上週日剛忙完囝囡暑期班報名, 5及6月餘下時間又要忙備試了. 希各家長及囝囡加油! 共勉之!!

還是你比較細心，提醒大家可以下載考試範圍。

我拿着考試範圍問兒子，他竟也不知道已經發佈了！

再跟他核對範圍內容，他們班的情形有點不妙：

1. 還有兩課半的數學待授。
2. 班購的Reading書Macbeth 仍未買到。
3. 本以為 VOA 和 BBC 是網上訓練閱讀和聆聽，不知道如何用來進行考試。

不知道你孩子那班有沒有類似問題？

我囝囝那班的進度亦有些不妙, 如:-

1. 中史: 西漢還未教完, 不知東漢及魏晉南北朝怎算 ?
2. 西史: 剛教完希臘, 但還有羅馬及中世紀未教 !

至於你提的問題, 囝囝那班的情況如下:-

1. 還有兩課的數學未授;
2. Reading書Macbeth 在下學期初買書時已一併由學校代購;
3. 我亦不明白為何 VOA 和 BBC 會用作進行考試之用 ?

估計部份進度落後之科目在此時間緊迫期間一定會為了要趕課交差而影響到學生的溫書時間, 各位家長似乎係時候要出手扶他們一把了 !!

Hi melvinlee,
我兒子的兩科歷史其實也是有同樣問題。

回心一想，課堂教不完，學期末不斷調堂趕課自己也曾經歷過。

除了扶兒子一把，亦可要他明白預習是必需的，以至有時候自己自動學習，不要等人教也要視之平常。

不過連班購的Reader也未買到，這個卻是超越學生可以控制的範圍以外，學校確要想想辦法。

The teaching progress of History and Chinese History of the class of my son is still not ideal; whereas, that of Maths. can be caught up now. How is the progress of them in your son's class?

我兒子班的進度如下：

中歷：剛授完三國，剩下魏晋南北朝待授。據說只會考到三國，主要集中考兩漢，略考三國。

西歷：還有三十多頁未授，恐怕補課是免不了。

數學：仍剩下半課，應沒有問題。

我囝囝班的中歷只剛教完西漢, 嚴重落後, 需要借堂; 此外, 根據考試範圍通告所述, 今次中史考試應是重點考兩漢及略考魏晉南北朝(包含三國), 為何與你上文所述不考魏晉南北朝略有不同?

至於西史方面則剛教完Rome, 進度較中史好些, 應尚可趕及.

Sorry to miss your message because the past few days I was busy in studying the exam. with my son and didn't visit the website. Anyway, I think it is no need to discuss it now because History exam. was carried out yesterday. Sorry again!

My son told me the difficulty level of the Geog. exam. was low whereas that of the history exam. was moderate.

Recently, we have to spend some more time to review CL because my son seems not clearly understand its content. He explained because the teacher only read the textbook content to them in the class but nothing else. As there was no CL exam. in the last 2 exams., I didn't alert this problem in advance. Thus, recently I need to spare some additional time to teach him CL. Do your son's class has the same problem on CL? Add oil !!

Hi melvinlee, thank you for your reply.  I'm too nervous because i'm not familiar with the exam.  As you're talking about the CL subject we don't know the level of difficulty.  anyway, add oil.

Dear Waiyinmab,

I just have a glance at the last year F.1 CL final exam paper, luckily it seems not difficult. Yet, my son needs to familize these 11 chapters in a short period of time right before the final exam. due to my not alerting of the said teaching failure as mentioned by my son. Recently, we have finished chapters 1 to 8; and, hopefully will complete the rest 3 chapters within the coming 2 days. It is no problem for us now!

Still have about one more week for the final exam., add oil!

Happy father day (with their exam.) this year again !!

話說那一晚和兒子温History，一大堆羅馬帝國的興亡和成就，之後真的疲累得要命。

一段時間沒有上BK，現在才知大家正在討論CL。

正如waiyinmab所描述的情況一樣，兒子的CL老師授課奇悶，使到一眾同學，就是不明白課文，也沒心情追問。

反而學期初melvinlee有提問CL作業其中一題，幾位BK家長還更有興趣查根究底一番。

今晚主要準備IS，也看一看去年CL試卷，兒子說比較難的是問「病」字部首的倉頡碼是什麼，因為記表不是他的強項，而其他題目還算正常，希望今年試卷不會太難吧！

下星期一只用考廿分鐘的English Reader，故此過了今個星期五，大家便可以過一個輕鬆一點的端午節了。

今天終於完成了這漫長的大考了, 對囝囝來說這是他人生至今為止所遇到過最長的考試期 (連續共13個考試天), 相信對大多數就讀中一的學生來說都是一個很好的學術考驗 + 耐力鍛鍊.

明及後天便是他們派發試卷的日子, 囝囝看來亦很期待這兩天的來臨, 你囝囝是否亦很待? 希望他們及家長都能以平常心去看待結果, 勝不驕, 敗不棄,
